Don't like the poor radio reception and how you can't adjust volume on amp while using aux input !!!!!

Rock On

I mounted this system on a 1300 R VTX Honda and it sounds great. I took a 700 mile trip, plug my phone in with Pandora on and at 70 miles per hour the system perform perfect. I would recommend this system to anyone wanting an inexpensive stereo system on their bike.

MC500

For the price you can't beat. Easy install with no problems. I use the scan disk the most. Sound is there at 70mph on the bike. Others were impressed and ordered them over the other brands (4 total)

I HAVE BEEN USING THIS FOR ABOUT 3 WEEKS NOW AND LOVE IT. I HAVE A 2012 HONDA SHADOW NO WINDSHIELD AND CAN STILL HEAR IT GOING 70 ON THE INTERSTATE. EVERYONE I SHOW IT TO CAN'T BELIEVE THE SOUND THEY ALL THOUGHT I PAID 300 PLUS FOR IT. YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPOINTED

easy installation

I tore the Pyle system (crappy sound) system out, and installed the Boss in less than 15 minutse. A single power connection, and instant music. Tried it at 65 mph on the highway, and music sounds great, radio worked fine. Start advertizing this in Biker Magazines. A sure hit.

love it a lot

I really like this product the sound is good. Could do with a little more highs but it sound good. A on button on the remote would be nice also. No prob hearing it with my helmet on.

Don't expect the same sound a Harley fat boy comes with. But expect good sound up to highway speeds with a reasonable wind shield. With no fairing it's harder to get volume at high speeds. Use media monkey and hi pass filter the files before you play it. I love everything about the design of them. I custom Monte the amp to the frame of a street Bob dyna and it's a piece of art.

Got this system as a Christmas gift and finally installed on my bike. Mounted the amp on my handlebars between the risers so that I can see the radio stations. Mounted the speakers with 1" speaker clamps instead of mounting under mirrors so that they are behind the windshield. Simple installation, took about 45 minutes. The system sounds GREAT. I have used it on the highway and can still hear my music clearly. Everyone that has seen it has complimented in a positive manner. Great product for the price. You won't be dissapointed. I use an Ipod shuffle most of the time and let me tell you this system cranks.

Speakers are to big, the amp has to be put in just the right spot for the remote to work. I could not put it under seat as I would have like to. Sound was good with my pipes

Great item only issue is no way to turn it on by remote, need to change the remote to volume up and down because when you try to control volume it changes the track or the radio station

Solid, well made.

I work in China and I wanted something good for my EBike. This unit is made in China, but I had to buy it from an American firm. It is well made, the speakers are solid and the chrome is great. The volume and amplitude are really good, I don't need more than 10 or 11 set, to hear the music. It was a bit pricey, especially the postage, although it was quick with the tracking system making it easy to find. Compared to what I have had on my Ebikes before , this unit is second to none. If you want a good system that is compact, waterproof and "Rocks" try the Boss MC 500! BTW, read the operations manual!!

Boss MC500

Finished mounting the Audio system yesterday and took a short ride to check it out. I ride a VTX 1300 with Cobra pipes and I could hear the music clearly over the pipes although I am having problems getting the remote control unit down right. with the USB mode when I try to change volume I switch tracks or vice / versa. I think I will get it eventually.
Pretty clear on the road until you get a song you want to crank and then there is some distortion.
Would be nice to have some more low end , but is nice to hear music.
Radio could use an antenna hook up since it fades in and out a lot.

Bought it in the fall and just installed it on my 99 Kawasaki 1500 Vulcan Nomad. Works great, remote is nice, (velcro it on my bar) radio reception works great in most places . It's not a 300 or 400 bucks , but for the price and sound , I would recommend it for sure . Thanks for the GREAT service Sonic .

This is an excellent system. I installed it on my 02 hayabusa. Its perfect. If it fits on my busa then its a piece of cake for other bikes. Btw, its louder then most car systems. Lots of commpliments given. Buy it! plus afterall its a boss! excellent brand name..

Sound is loud

Cost me $20 to send back the first unit that did not work. Once the second one arived promptly . It worked fine , very loud but has no bass at all!

I think it's great, in fact I just ordered another one for my boat. The only drawback I have is the remote. At hwy speeds I can't get the volume to change very well. It'll change the station/track more often than changing volume. I have no idea why because I know I'm pressing the button down long enough.

Decent unit

Decent unit but you really need to read the fine print before purchasing this item.it is not what I thought I purchased it does not pick up the two channels on the radio side of my area. Will not pick up the major radio stations for my area. Or you cannot adjust the volume when you have it in auxiliary mode. Other than that the unit is a decent unit

Great product I place them on my VT1100 and sounds great. I've been up to 90MPH and still clear sound.
