goooooood speakers

A great replacement product from stock. They really round out the sound in my S-10 pick-up.

great product

I just put these in my 86 full size chevy pickup truck. They sound very good for what i paid for them. They are by no means going to be somthing that is part of a professional sound system but they have good crisp clean sound. I would recommend this product to anyone who is looking for a good budget sound system.

Great

I installed these speakers in my 1998 S-10 and i couldnt believe how loud but yet still crystal clear they would get with just 150 watts to them from a cheap little amp!!!! if your on a budget and these will fit your vehicle i would deffinately recommend them.

Good overall value!

Ready for the book? Chapter 1 thru 10: I installed these in a 1985 Pontiac Fiero GT and sounds great. 2 in original dash location & 2 in rear panel (lowest section above floor board). Yes, I cut the rear panel & right side clears fuel filter. Lows over power highs so EQ handles that & 10 in sub in trunk handles lows / base. As with all speakers, these come alive with an amp. (Durability) - Don't know yet. The bad (Features & Ease of Use) - speaker covers don't stay very well & had to glue... BOSS is a Great speaker on a budget - We prefer Pioneer for easy install & they handle extreme highs & lows very well.

Good Value

Used to replace damaged rearmost factory speakers in 1999 suburban six months ago. Sounds fine with factory system. Great value for the money (paid $30). No complaints. Those of you building a high end system may want to spend more but these work for me.

Ok for an old truck.

The covers keep falling off. I glued them on with some black RVT.

Decent sound, bulky cage

I bought these for the rear post speakesr in my 93 GMS Sonoma Club Coupe truck (Basically the extended cab S-10) The cage on the back of the speaker is thicker than the oem speakrs, so I had to modify the post of my truck to get them to fit with a sawzall and a hammer, quite the difficult (and painful) task while crammed into the back seat of my truck. Perhaps if I had cut out the factory grill and used the speaker grills that came with them, they would have fit better, but I didn't want to advertise that I had new speakers, as I park in public parking lots all the time. Other than that, they sound pretty good. Don't expect $300 sound from these speakers, but for the amount I paid for them, I am very satisfied with them. I've had them for 6 months now, with no problems.

value

I guess you get what you pay for. they sound good but I don't think they handle the power I put through them very well. could be my fault on setting up my system.
