BOSS sk65

The included crossovers are poor, they roll the tweeter over too high and the woofer is peaky with the small coil in the x-over. I used a .7 coil and a 5.0 cap to achieve good results. Sensitivity a little over-rated as is power handling. They are good for midbass, lowbass needs a boost, then power handling is nowhere near the inflated specs.

This component set is very loud and clean and has a awesome skull design if you put the correct amount of the amp power you'll be very HAPPY .

Decent speakers .....

They sound really good as long as you don't put too much power but you have to put enough power to them for them to put sound out .... I don't think the power rated quote is even close to what they advertise .... I have the 4" version of this speakers as well and they are really decent .... They eyes lighting to the beat is memorizing and enjoyable .... However the SK65 6.5" speakers eyes won't light up and I have no clue why not .... You can't find any troubleshooting info on these speakers and grills at all anywhere .... My SK65's came with tweeters and junction boxes and very little instructions ..... I am really bummed that the eyes are not working and I don't have a clue why they don't ..... Maybe because of the tweeters ??? If anyone knows a trick or knows of something that will make them work please email me at llnmain@yahoo.com and tell me ... I would greatly appreciate it tons .... Thank you .
