Beautiful

Okay to be completely honest these were my first pair of after market speakers. I have an 8 speaker Bose system in my nissan and boy that sure sounds great, it has 4 6.5", 2 tweets, and 2 6x9". I thought that was pretty much top of the line but boy I was wrong I bought 2 sets of these clarions and BAM they are SO CRISPY! They even have a surprising amount of bass to them. In my opinion they need an after market amp, I listened to them off my 22wrms kenwood headunit and then later on a 4 channel (60wrms) per channel amp and it really amazed me. 8 speaker bose vs 4 clarions on jazz is an easy victory for clarion. Also easy to install with those little black clip things it comes with to screw into if the stock holes are too big.

Great Speakers

Good clean sound, quality speaker and easy to install. Sounds way better than stock speakers. They work with a regular deck, didn't need amp.

I have installed this in the front doors of a 96 Jetta for a friend. By the way you have to disconect the factory dash tweeters(otherwise you'll have 2 ohms load, and even if you wire them in 8ohms sound it's really bad). No sound deadening material was used and with small adjustments they fit great. Good sound quality with clear mids and highs. Didn't get powerful bass but I wasn't aspecting that anyways. They do a great job in companion with 2 12" polk audio dxi subwoofer.

This is an awesome pair of speakers!! Comes with all instalation hardware! Just installed them today along wit my Kenwood 6x9's makes an awesome duo!!! Bass is great, all the highs and mids/lows are great.

a few mods and awesome

Got these to replace stock 6.5's in a celica. Were a bit big. But a few screws, hours, and some MDF later I had a perfect fit and they sound awesome!

Very pleased

I installed these speakers into my 1996 Chev Astro front doors, they have rich base and seem to cover up to 20khz easily. I'm driving them with 55 watt amp and a Sony head unit. I can still get them to distort with too much base, but I'm not sure if my amp is also distorting. I get the feel that these speakers may be a step above the quality of my amp.
I like these speakers and have no 2nd thoughts about my purchase.
