I purchased the Cobra CPI 480 to power my computer, printer, hot box and charge various walkie talkies and recharge power tool batteries. It is the best charger I have purchased. It has never let me down and the ease of installation made the purchase even sweeter. It took ten minutes to hook it directly to my truck battery and the compact size allowed me to fit it at arms reach for easy on/off situations. The cooling fan keeps the unit charging all day. I work from my "office" truck.

Bought it for our vacation to charge the laptop and batteries as I drive and so far works still. connection is a little picky when plugging it in but I can deal with it. Haven't tried anything over 200watts yet and haven't connected directly to the battery as I had planned but its worth it for the small appliances. I would recommend this for anyone seeing that in stores you can only get cheap 100 watts for this same price. I approve.

Wonderful for camping and laptop
I bought this for running my laptop while in the car, but is has proved to be much more valuable. Blowing up airbeds when camping plugging i the coffee maker in the desert. this is a must have for the off road bag
