Awesome headunit by Dual!
I bought this head unit to replace one that got stolen from my sisters car (also purchased from Sonic) but i didn't want to spend a lot of money, so I decided to pickup this radio. First off, the display, it's amazingly clear! If you've ever seen a 99 civic dashboard, you know how hard it is to see with the glare. But the display is bright enough that it's easily seen! "A+" there.
Bluetooth: almost perfect!! Syncing was easy and fast, connection is quick. The buttons take a little getting used to, like which one is mute and which one is privacy call (switching back to handset) but once you remember it, it's simple! Solid "A" there! It never had a problem with disconnecting or anything! USB/Ipod also almost perfect!! I didn't use the USB port too often but when I did it would work great! Again, a little confusing to understand if you don't read the instructions. Also, it doesn't charge my 3rd gen iTouch but it's okay because it's always charged anyways. Radio falls a little short. Some of the local stations come in with more static then normal. I have other head units that get perfect reception (as well as the radio that was stolen) but this one has static where others don't. Again, I live in LA so it might have something to do with it, but I doubt that. CD Player works flawlessly! Would i recommend this radio? Heck yeah! Where else can you get a nice HU for a bill and some change? Nowhere but SONIC!!
