Great screen for a great price

I recently bought this dual and i love it so far. installed easy and looks great. I would have liked a custom equalizer setting but for the price its awesome.

It's not the best

Most of the options available are ok but I was disappointed that there was no clock??? I thought that was very odd....

Best value around!!

I purchased this unit for my 2007 Scion tC. The unit itself has a nice clean design, and the fitment was perfect. A minor modification also retained the use of my radio door, so I could close it concealing the unit. Instalation was a breeze with the Toyota wiring harness, and the complete install took little over an hour. The expandability of the unit is fantastic, besides running the supplie iDock to AUX2, I also ran a Zune AV docking station to AUX1, so I can just drop my Zune on the cradle and utilize the doc remote with full functionality (PAC-IRX Requuired) The Interface is simple and clean, Radio operations are clear cut, it grabbed all my favorite stations without a problem. The DVD drive supports multiple media, I burned a DVD-R with my MP3 Library including folders and the unit loaded with no issues, ease of moving from folder to folder and track to track was great. The DVD picture on the 6.5 screeen is very crisp and detailed, I liked the "Invisible" functions, touching diffrent areas of the screen carry out diffrent functions, FWD-REV-NXTCHP, etc...The cabin fade function was nice, you can pick your position on a virtual screen to better balance the sound. The touch-screen is very responsive, and the EQ while not the end all be all, is more than adaquate.

The capability of adding amps, GPS and a rear camera make this unit, IMO a huge bang for your buck. Yes there are better, but for what I wanted in a DVD Head unit, the Dual came through with flying colors. Oh, and it also has a full function remote.

Can't go wrong here!!

good price

It was good for the price. Cheapest touchscreen around. Plenty of inputs and outputs. Runs lots of power to speakers(cant turn the vol up more the 3/4 of the way). Has a couple of quirks: if you mute a song, turn the car off and back on, the song is no longer muted(can hurt your ears if your not ready for it) its always too dim or not dim enough. It has a brightness setting that you have to change a lot, the "dimmer option" doesn't do Enough. Great quality. Can play dvds, cds, radio, two aux inputs(laptop, back up camera, iphone), Nav unit cost to much, Data Dvds(over 500 songs on one disk) the shuffle could be better(not Exactly random). The EQ could be better(not many options). Its really a 4 star product(out of 5) but for the price, its a 5 star product. I doubt the few buttons that it has will last long though, but it comes with a remote that is VERY useful.

Great buy for the money

I purchased this unit for my 04 Caddy and I was suprised how great this unit functions . Kudos to Dual for making a really nice looking unit affordable . If you can't afford a high end name brand model go with this unit it will not disappoint.

Dual XDVD8265

Not a bad double din for the price. Just not as many features as I had hoped. Something I didn't think about until after installation, was this unit isn't equipped with a clock feature. It is funny how the simple details are missed. But for the price, I guess I can purchase an auxiliary clock.
