Also has the feature of plugging an ipod into the unit.

I Really Like This Cd Player It Fit My Car Nicely And Sounds Great Too

Excellent HD radio for the commuter.

This car radio exceeded all of my expectations. I installed this radio in my commuter car. I drive from Long Island to the Bronx every day and with the HD content in the New york Metro area I don't bother to bring my XM satellite radio on my commute. As for comments by others that AM doesn't work is an out right lie. The AM both HD and analog work perfectly as described by the manufacture. The CD player functions perfectly and plays both standard CD and MP3. The free installation kit and harness made the installation an easy Saturday project. The only negative comment I have is engine whine when I use my Ipod and car charger together. When the Ipod is used on battery power there is no engine whine. A simple inline noise filter should take care of the Ipod noise problem.

Dual XHD6420

I bought this mainly for the mp3 capability and the price. However, I have been completely satisfied with all aspects of this radio. The numerous presets, the HD capabilities, including the auto scan & set for HD stations. No need to find a list of stations & program them. This radio does it for you. In addition, there is the option to show time,radio station,genre, or scroll which will tell you everything about the station/song. Definitely a high-end feature & nice surprise.
I am constantly playing CD's(bought & home-made),my mp3,& the radio for a continued variety of music. Sounds good. Over-all, I am very happy with the radio. Now if it could just eliminate commercials on the radio. (No, I'm not willing to pay for satellite radio.)
Service was quick & painless. Price is great, I paid next to nothing for this radio, including shipping & the harness kit.
I would definitely recommend both the radio & Sonic Electronix for anyone looking for a new HD radio & a reliable merchant.

i bought this for the single fact that it has a usb port, its awesome how many different inputs you can get for such a cheap price, the screen isn't so great but for money its an awesome deal

Car stereo

I am very happy with this purchase. The stereo came with all the correct parts for installation. It arrived quickly and fit perfectly into the car. I had been to several stores that said it would be impossible to find a stereo to fit my small car and said I would need to spend a lot on finding the right installation parts and may need to alter my dash...Using your chart was easy and there were no problems at all. The stereo sounds great and I love it!

Excellent product

Great price for the value. Having HD radio included with MP3 plug-in, made this the right choice for me. Locally here in Arizona, you would pay much more for the same features.

Can't beat it

After having searched for over a year for a reasonably priced HD receiver that looked good and would be an easy install for me, I chose the Dual XHD6420 unit. The price was in the area I wanted to spend for a product I new little about. The install took about 45 minutes and everything was correct for the install (Mounted unit in the dash of 2004 Dodge stratus) What was even nicer for me was when I opened unit I found a remote control was now included in the deal. The remote works great. System sounds great! Very happy would buy it again. Tell everybody this is an honestly good product. I totally enjoy it!!

XD Tuner For Mustang

Terrific 'entry level' HD radio/CD player to replace OEM radio. Easily installed in stock location with no mods to vehicle. Included wiring harness made it a 'drop in' install with capability to return to OEM radio if vehicle traded later.

Good Product

I would buy this AGAIN AND AGAIN a bargain for the price, all features work well as described looks great at night and day. Not flashy enough for a show car, but is rugged and looks good in your daily driver.

I recently purchased the DUAL XHD6420. I installed it in my 18 Wheeler. I drive a 500 mile round trip daily from South Texas to San Antonio. The HD tuner helps in getting more stations. The sound is terrific. The FM and AM stations come in much more clearer. The CD's play crisp and clean. The system does as advertised. It was easy to install. I am very satisfied with the product. It is a great find and value for the price.

Radio works great. Does occasionally lose a station when out of sight (behind a mountain) but otherwise sounds great, much better than original equipment. Does not have adjustable brightness on lights or have the time indicated other than when using the radio. Very pleased with my purchase and price..

Good Price

But that's about it. Had unit installed for 7 weeks before the AM/FM tuner stopped working. 3 weeks too long for Sonics 30day warranty to cover it. Had to deal with rude customer support at dual and send back to dual at my cost. will have hole in dash for 3-5 weeks while waiting for replacement. easy to install. decent sound if you use the loud button. hd radio sounds great but only a couple hd stations where i live.

Great HD Car Radio/CD Player

Terrific unit loaded with features many CD/radio units don't have at more than 2 or 3 times the price. I got for my son's car with the free option of the Scosche HA1567B DIN Installation Dash Kit for 2001-2005 Honda Civic and Scosche HA08B / HA08 Wire Harness to Connect an Aftermarket Stereo Receiver to Select 1998-2006 Honda/Acura Vehicles.
With the installation kits, it didn't take 20 minutes to install the whole thing!

totally awsome

this radio is great! it really does sound so much clearer than regular radio! lots of power from this unit. Nice features, but wish it had front rear and sub outs. but its still amazing!
