I just got this sub today and OMG. I owned kicker Fosgate JL even bought L7's this sub ya i said it 1 sub beats them all for all music so far. I was very skeptical about a 15. 12's sounded better and tighter not this thing at any volume it sounds good even stressing the hell out of it. I am powering it with a rockford P500-2 bridged low gain for the break in period but still sounds great. Sooo buy one already.

A month ago, I purchased one of the Tremor-x15's. I have to say, it surprised me with how well it preforms. I have it taking 410w and it is pounding. Just one 15 in a tuned box is hitting 130db easy. I cannot wait to get another. And for those who wonder, yes, the xmax is accurate. The only thing I dont like about this sub is it does put out a small amount of mechanical noise when played at low volume. But I bought this to try and rattle my trunk off, it may not have rattled the trunk off yet, but my rearview mirror completely snapped off of my windshield.. so its doing its job. Definitely a ear drum tickler. 9/10 for subs ive never heard before buying one.

I already had 4 12s and i had crazy mids.. but this 15 is insane on the lows in a good box between 3-5ft cubed! Just one shakes everything.

I went ahead and bought 4 of these earthquake tremor x154 and built a huge 20 cube box in my Yukon denali. The box is port tuned to about 40hz and they freaking hit. The body and windows look like jello when they're pounding blurrs my vision with every bass note. People say 15s are sloppy and not accurate but these are clean, crisp and tight. I played some heavy metat with some double bass pedal and they pick up every beat. They have the xmax of 300-500 $ subs, but require way lower power consumption and theyre only running 90$ right now here on sonicelectronix.com. And earthquake gives them a 5 year warranty so there's no reason not to buy these. I will and have already recommended these subs to my friends that want a pounding system. I stand by my review and this product its a definite good buy.

THE 15inch EARTHQUAKE TREMOR SUBS I PURCHASED FROM SONIC ELECTRONIXS ARE THE BEST SUBWOOFERS EVER, PERFECT DEEP BASS RESPONSE , 700watt RMS PER SUB , MAKE SURE YOU HAVE A MATCHING AMP TO GO WITH THEM. THESE WERE INSTALLED IN A 2006 TOYOTA TUNDRA DOUBLE CAB, IT SHOOK THE GROUND!! MAKE SURE YOU INSTALL THESE SUBS IN A PORTED BOX NOT SEALED. THESE BAD BOYS NEED TO BREATHE!! PERFECT SOUND AND SONIC ELECTRONIX IS THE PLACE TO GET THEM !!!

First id like to state that the stated RMS handling is not true. Its shown on sonic as 750 watts, while in reality it is only 450 watts(as stated on the magnet of the woofer itself). Its a tad disappointing to see the false ad but it does not mean it is not loud. Its built very solid and can take some power and beatings. Currently I have 4 of these purchased, but only 2 loaded in my car(until i can afford to finish my wall), the two loaded in my car are being powered on 200 watts each( break in period till my amp ships here in a couple days), even on low power it murders the lows and can go as low as 16 hz so far in a 28 fb custom made box (not really audible in sense of a note, but it definitely tickles your colon). The pamphlet that came with the woofer that had the information on the woofer was weak though, came as a photocopied page that was actually fuzzy and difficult to read and didn't actually have a lot of information in it. Sonic was fast on the shipping and has earned my trust fully as an online vendor for all my audio needs. 4 out 5 for false advertising and sketchy looking instruction manual. Still recommended for those who want loud, low, and affordable, good brand.

I have never really heard of earthquake audio, but reading the specs on the speaker, specifically BL and Xmax, and reading other reviews I convinced myself it was worth a try. I am glad I did, this single 15" receiving a nominal 400W RMS com in a custom designed vented enclosure tuned to Fb of 28hz completely obliterates the two 15's I had prior(power acoustik junk...). I would highly recommend earthquake audio(at least their subwoofers thus far) to anyone looking for good SPL and SQ on a small budget.

All i can say is i change systems alot. Ive had all the name brands except re audio and earthquake. i now am hooked on earthquake. Great SQ and awesome SPL good for all music so far only owned a couple of days. In a sealed box with a fosgate p500-2 still in the break in period so i cant wait til its broken in. Just moved from 2 kicker cvr 2012 12 dual 4 ohm vented box to 1 fifteen and would do it again. Thought 15's were sloppy but very accurate. Good buy highly reccomend to any one.

I got this sub a week ago and I gotta say that I was extremely impressed with it. I owned several brands such as JBL, Fosgate, Orion, MTX, Kicker, and the list goes on and on. This sub by far dworfs all of them. I'd recommend this sub to anyone and Earthquake Sound has become my number one brand as of late!!!

I love earthquake. I have a 12s tnt and it is awesome. So I bought a 15" tremor and its good but the dust cap rattles a bit and the one they sent me is not the same as the one in the pics and the video. so theres that. But I still like earthquake they are an amazing subwoofer for the money

1990 is when I first got into car audio and since that time I have lost track on how many different subs I have owned. So the current build is a budget build and the 15” Tremor subs by Earthquake fit the bill.
Having limited trunk space I decided to custom build a box out of 3/4” MDF which ended up being slightly less than the optimal 5 cubic feet for 2 subs. After doing sine sweeps it appears as though the in car resonant frequency is 45 hz with useable sound levels down to about 30 hz.
These 2 subs are connected to a Hifonics Brutus 2,000 watt class D mono block amp wired to 2 ohms and the gain set to output 1,000 watts(with using a multimeter to check AC voltage on the speaker output) during the break in time.
The Tremor subs keep impressing me. Every day that I crank the subs up, they get louder and can hit the low notes better. Even with 500 watts RMS to each sub, the volume cant be turned up too high due to badly blurred vision.
Overall these are some really great entry priced subs that put out more than their price would lead you to believe.

I purchased the Tremor-X154 as replacement subwoofers for my home entertainment system. I am driving them with a Berhinger Europower EP-4000 amp providing 950 watts RMS / 1400 watts peak to each driver @ 4 ohms.
I purchased these speakers not so much for their high SPL range, but low and infrasound capabilities. More for movie sound tracks than music.
The X154 is a high quality driver at a reasonable price. They provide tremendous low bass output with their long travel motor and cone suspension, nice and tight.
I am very pleased with my purchase, and would recommend any of the "Earthquake" series speakers.

Sub came as described. Have it hooked up to my kenwood xr900-5 and to my surprise it bumps well. Still getting all the tuning down for the amp but I'm quite surprised with this subwoofer. Great product for the price.

I bought 2 of these to fit in the trunk of a dodge stratus. I built 2 3 cubic foot boxes tuned to 32hz running them at 500rms and all I can say is wow. They have lots of bass. I have put may other systems to shame people that have spent hundreds more. I have had them for over a year now abuseing them!!!! From over powering them at 750rms at times to just starting them full volume at -50degree Fahrenheit They shame my mirrors down and spare change laying around your car makes the most annoying rattle. I suggest these to anyone looking to get lots of bass with low rms!

I'm using a r1200 and a vented b-box and blew them in a week with my gain on 2. The amp Is an absolute powerhouse and a true woofer cooker lol. It has alpine type s and the type rs under it'd belt already before I got these. I got them because of the specs and reviews; let me warn you they are all false. It might have been I gotta bad batch but that 30mm xmax is a joke. Its more like 10-12 I promise you. I gave them 400 true watts a piece and they couldn't hang at all. Did not have a smooth sound in the slightest and misses a lot of notes. Wanted a pair of sub's to last me until I could afford some t1s or something worthy of my ampilfer; would have been much better off putting the cash towards one of the subs I wanted and coming back for the other one. I've been looking at this things for years and decided to take a chance on them, don't make my mistake
