Eclipse CD1200
This is my second Eclipse deck; my first, of the older generation, was stolen. This one, purchased years later, retains the incredibly high fidelity that I've come to expect from these manufacturers - although I think it's a shame that they are no longer on production. The interface is not nearly as simple as my old deck, which although annoying isn't really a drawback. I consider this deck to be a fine investment, and I hope to have it for years to come. The USB port comes in handy - I don't use it for running mp3s, which appeared to be rather complicated, but rather for charging my phone/ipod while running music through an external 1/8" stereo cable.

incomplete package
the product was ok but it arrived rebuilt and missing the installation sleave and trim ring, which i had to order direct with the Eclipse distributor. So be careful buying reconditioned parts from Eclipse.
the unit itself is good. looks great in black interior, but the USB MP3 player controls are a bit difficult to use compared to my Kenwood. Sounds good though, is a quality unit. Is missing subwoofer preout though, i had to lead them in from the rear pre-outs.
