Nice good sq

I got a pair of these in a 2003 ford mustang running passive and Rey sound grate. They don't get to loud but they are a nice set of components for the price

On Time Delivery to Canada

Products came on time , Everything in the box was packed like Brand new... These Focals look great!! They sound amazing.. Im running them off a Clarion apx401.4 "50 watt RMS x4" .05 THD. Im very happy with this product and im impressed with the delivery time and condition of packaging.

The clarity of these speakers is incredible !

I recently purchased these speakers to use in the fairing of my H-D motorcycle. The deck is a JVC unit also purchased through Sonic along with an Arc Audio amp. The Focal's have a strong following on H-D forums in regards to audio quality. I just put them in last Tuesday and in a word .. WOW! Yes they play loud and clear with a 70w/channel amp but what really comes out is the extreme detail in the music. Detail is extremely clean and clear. Instruments and vocals just pop. Awesome speakers!

Crystal clear sound

These things are awesome. I put a set of these in the front doors/dash of a 2012 VW Passat, and couldn't be happier for the price. I have only owned the Access line prior to these, and the Polyglass is definitely worth the extra coin of you can afford it. These speakers scream with 100 watts per channel sent to them, and are very clear at high volume.

Good Value

I installed a pair of these speakers in the front doors of my 2nd generation Acura Integra, powered by a JL Audio 70W/channel amp.

The woofers, tweeters and crossovers look great and seem really well built. The speakers sound better as they get louder and I don't think I've scratched the surface of how loud they could get.

The tweeters seem to outpace the woofers a bit and can seem harsh and piercing with high vocal tracks, but they do make electronic music sound amazing. If you like techno, you'll love these speakers.

There isn't quite as much bass as I expected, but I believe that may be because of my car.

Overall a good valued set. I used to have 4x JL C2-650X speakers, but after I replaced the fronts with the Focals, I ditched the rear C2's as well because they couldn't keep up with the smoothness of the Focals.

Nice sound

These speakers sounded really nice but was nowhere near loud enough for my setup. If you have a big bass system these will not be heard over the bass. Focal needs to make a component system that takes alot of power so you can get great smooth sound from a high power audio system. I used them for about 2 weeks then purchased Beyma components so i could hear my music. But for regular systems they sound really good.

Not worth the money. Do not buy they sound Terrible. Already switched mine out to infinity.

'99 Maxima Refit

I had been getting bored with the sound in my car and wanted some good quality speakers at stock size that could handle the output of my stereo really well. I hadn't heard of this brand before I reviewed possibilities, but this product came up frequently at the top. So I found it here for a very good price. I am really impressed with the sound. I installed these as my back speakers with the tweeters mounted a few inches to the outside. They sound punchy and solid no matter how much I turn it up, with faithful reproduction of notes.

Cristal Clear, Sound Quality Speakers!

I'm SQ oriented so I was looking forward to upgrade my sound stage, and with the I got what I wanted!. I installed the woofers on my door which are insulated and the tweeters on my A pillars about 20 degrees off-axis, in the 0db's setting. The first impression was positive. The details that come out and the imaging is great. I'm a musician so I know first hand what real instruments sound like, the reproduce music with realism. In my opinion I noticed that the tweeters performed better that the woofers, complement them more than anything but still have they are quality drivers, no denying that. I think that they are priced right, and wouldn't hesitate to buy another set since they are simply great. No issues so far, but the warranty seems to be the best that I know of. In case you ask, they are fed with 80 rms each side.

Outstanding Component Set

I replaced another component set purchased from Sonic (Massive Audio CK 69, weak mids was the reason) with this one. Application, Nissan Frontier stock speaker location, fronts, 6x9 in the door and tweeters in the dash. Michael at Sonic strongly recommended these focals for the task, as he stated he has these in his car. I'm glad he did, what a difference. I have these focals running off an Alpine PDX-F4 (100 w rms each channel). Overpowering, a little, but turned the gain down to compensate. What a difference. I turned down my subs all the way to just tune (set the amp gain) on these. These 6.5's make my outside mirrors move just a little with mid-bass! Crystal clear mids and highs. Best speakers I ever owned!

These speakers are the best speakers I've have ever owned. I have owned a lot,(jl audio, Rockford, Alpine) they beat them all hands down if you want superior sound quality and loud this the speaker for you!

NIce speakers with very good sound

I definitely recommend these speakers. I have used less expensive component speakers in the past and these are far superior in sound. The high end is strong but not harsh. I have these paired with a JL Audio 300/4v2 amp and run JL Audio C3 650s on the front channels with these in the rear doos of a 2012 Elantra. I mounted the tweeters on the door panel just inside where the door pouch begins. They handle the power well and mid-bass is very smooth. Didn't like having to send a warranty card to France in the mail, as a website would have been preferable. The crossovers have hard wired speaker wire and that can make remote mounting a little sloppier, but nice speakers and it is a toss up between these and the JL Audio 650s.

Great Sound

Put this in my 2010 Corolla LE and now it sounds better than a 2010 Corolla S

Since the LE doesn't have 6 speakers like the S, I bought this component set to mimic the S. It sounds so much better even without an amp. I actually have to lower the volume a bit from where I normally listen because I can already hear everything even on highway speeds.

great sound

these are great, i have a pair of 130kr's in the front of my car and these in the back. the 165 vb's out perform the kr's. the kr's sound great but for the price i would buy these.

Very detailed speaker

I have these speakers in the doors of my 2012 Tacoma truck. They are installed in the stock location. These speakers are well balanced and very accurate depending on the source. They have exceptional bass and extended treble response. Well made, good value for the money.

Focal 165 VB

These speakers are simply the best I have ever owned. I have had Infinity components but the Focal's are very very good. The sound quality is very clear. I would highly recommend these speakers. I completely noticed the sound improvement, using the same amplifier and same deck. Awesome very great sounding speakers.

Focal 165VB components

I had several convincing experiences with sonixelectronics. I purchased a set of Focal 165vb components speakers for my vehicule, they are among the best quality I ever heard and I stole them at a ridiculous price from them! I would recommend this store to everyone, including family & friends. And I would suggest the Focal car audio for all stereo upgrades.
