Great Value

Great bang for your buck. The bass is strong and tight for a speaker costing this much. Couldn't get this on the entry level rockford prime series. People don't pay attention to these speakers because of the brand. But hey why pay so much for a logo that will be hidden behind the factory speaker grill of the car.

2012 Ford Focus SE

I own a 2012 Ford Focus SE. Fits right in after cutting the original speakers out of their case. These components sounds awesome. Can't beat it for the price. Great highs & mids, lows are good as well.

Great sound, even better price!

I used these to replace the stock components in my Tahoe front doors. I had to do a little fabrication to mount the tweeters, but I knew that going in to the project. I also decided to mount the crossovers in my cab, instead of in the doors, which required me to run wires through the doors (kind of a pain). They sound great after all that, even just running off the stock amp setup. Warning-the instructions (if you can call them that) really are terrible, but if you have any common sense, it is easy enough to figure out. Overall, very good sounding speakers. Mine had a 10 dollar gift card discount, so they really cost about the same as a pair of inexpensive coaxials. Great value!

Sound great for the price

I picked these up to replace the blown factory door speakers in my Dakota. I had never used Hifonics speakers before but have used their amps and loved them. Once I got them hooked up, they really impressed me. If you're looking for great sound and don't have alot of $$ to spend these are great. I plan on replacing them later to match my rear speakers but will be putting them in my other car. I would recommend these based on price and sound. The only cons I found is that the crossover is a bit on the large side and it's hard to find a place that they'll fit with ease, and mine didn't come with any wiring so I had to buy some locally which is no big deal.

really supprised

being a long time hifonics fan but not buying any products since hifonics changed owners I thought I would try the ATL 6.5c A 6.5'' mid tweeter two way component set with crossover. Out of the box looks a little on the cheap side??!! but don't forget the low cost of the set, I installed two sets using a Hifonics 5 channel amp 110x4+1000!! With out any issues The speakers do their job and as small as the tweeters are they are very sharp and clear, the mids handle their range fine without any popping or distorting, Just remember to keep them in there wattage range and all is well!!!!!

Great Budget Component Speakers

Bought 4 (2 sets) of these speakers to upgrade stock speakers and paired it with the Hifonics GLX60.4 and their like a match made in heaven! Really great rms power for the price. Right in the middle of price range for component 6.5" speakers, but are up there with the bigger brands. Woofer construction looks really durable and strong, with a decent sized magnet, tweeters were a 1/4" smaller at 3/4" then the larger 1" tweeter you could get for a little more money, but honestly sound great. Crossovers house really small component and just basically a big plastic box, but even the crossover matched the amp i bought, which was a nice surprise. Overall gets 5 stars for form, function, and price, i mean 2 sets of great component speakers for the price of 1 of more expensive brands, can't really beat that!

Sound quality just isnt there. Its not an issue with the drivers its the crossovers. Had a set of old rf power xovers and used those instead made a world of difference. If you buy them either use other xovers or seperate the mid and tweeter amps and adjust seperatley. Pushing with an old rf 500.4 sounds awesome as long as I dont drive the mids under 90hz.

You won't rind anything this nice for $50. I've owned many Hifonics items and installed many others for people. No defects or issues.

i was working with a low budget so i decided to get these and let me tell you these thing sound good.

good for the money

first of all, there is a break in period where the speakers will sound pretty harsh, but this passes by quickly. secondly the speakers are good when it comes to bass', but the higher frequency can get a bit harsh if you put to loud. have yet to amplify them so this may change that.. overall, good for the money, would recommend

I just bought some at $80 so I guess I paid too much compared to what they are now, but they are worth every penny. Great sound and crossovers were easy to set up.
