Best ad on tweeters

Looks really cool and shows the JBL logo. 3/4” vs 1” tweeter for better higher range and better crossover than most auxiliary tweeters. I used the crossover to drive another pair of tweeters I had and they sounded better less harsh. It be nice if they had an eyeball surface mount online because it would be a reason not to chop these. I added two pair one in the front driving another pair of tweeters and the same in the back. I have a lot of clean clear highs.

Great tweeters

Great looking with a better crossover then some other stand alone tweeters. I Little smaller so plays less harsh mids. I added these to the dash on a tweeter feed and used its crossover to drive another pair made them sound better. Nice swivel flush mount. Nice looking with the copper color and JBL logo. Sounded better than my other tweeters. Price was fair based on the quality of the sound looks and features

Best tweeters

I liked the look of these JBL tweeters the grill the color and brought more JBL into my build I have GTI components in the rear. They also are 3/4 tweeters so they play a little cleaner and crisper than 1 inch drivers. I also like crossovers more than a single capacitor with nice terminals. I’m driving them with another pair or Clarion tweeters off the Clarion 505 head unit using the JBL crossovers to filter both. The head unit is only driving these two pair up front the Alpine component on the dash are on 500 watt Polk amp. The way I have my gain set at 3/4 volume they are at a good level to match the system. They make a noticeable difference in voicing and made the Clarion tweeters less harsh. I just got another pair to do something similar in the back to get rid of the ugly single cap Clarion tweeters crossovers and add JBL logos. The rear like the rest of the car is on DSP and active crossovers by Audio Controls so I don’t need crossovers like in the front because those are straight off the head. I am driving two JL 3 1/2 On each side off the head in the back. I replaced the factory 4x10. This is a Saab 900 hatchback. I can switch all amps off and listen to just the head unit driving tweeters up front and the 4 JL in the back. That way I have something for talk radio when parked that’s not taking big battery power. It’s pleasant too if you just want something not loud. The installation hardware works well I’ve never seen a Saab 900 this fantastic with this much innovation on an install and I have to thank Sonic for always having my order here by Friday in time to work on the car over the weekend. And having good sales prices and equipment to choose from.
