Great radio

When I bought my Smart car it had been a loaner car that had a JVC radio installed by the dealership. That radio was very good but I needed a way to legally and safely use my cellphone while driving and I came across this unit so I gave it a try. To say the least it works wonderfully and has HD radio built in(in addition to a lot of other neat features) I love it.It was a litte complicated to set up at first but I've had it for over 7 months now and it's a breeze to use now.The wife liked the phone feature so much that I put one in her Mustang For ease of use I gave it 4 stars because of being complicated at first but once accustomed to it it's a five

Decent unit

So far, so good. I bought this unit to replace a stock unit in my wife's Subaru Forester. The factory unit sounded awful, but was easy to use. This unit sounds great, but is a little on the complex side, especially using the phone via Bluetooth. Hopefully, we'll be able to get used to that. However, a major drawback is the display is REALLY dim and completely unreadable in daylight. I have it adjusted to max brightness and it is still too dim. Hopefully JVC will get the idea and offer a firmware fix for this. I may consider buying another one of these, if a fix for the display is offered, for my Chevy truck. About the durability rating below: since Sonic insists on my filling in a field, I did, but I've only used this product for a few weeks now and have no idea how durable it is.

JVC double DIN

The unit performs very well. HD tuner & bluetooth are great options to have & work better than I expected. Sound is solid. I am very pleased with this product.

OH Yea this radio ROCKS!

I looked around at alot of radios and this one was the only one at an affordable price that had every option I wanted. Let me start by saying i got this radio at SonicElectronix for $40 cheaper than anywhere else. That's a 40 dollar saving right from the start. Then Sonic hooked me up with a wiring harness and a dash kit for free! so that's another 20-30 bucks in savings. SONIC you guys rock. Anyway I hooked this bad boy up in my 2004 Mountaineer along with a Metra Axxess ASWC steering wheel control unit. I placed the mic that came with the JVC head unit up by my rear view mirror and the Bluetooth calls are awesome! I have a Android phone and it plays my music with a incredible sound and my steering wheel controls actually skip songs for me to! Pandora rocks and works perfect to. I have yet to install this JVC app I keep hearing about but right now I don't know why I would need it. I love this radio it was a breeze to install. And I wont buy any electronics from anywhere else but SonicElectronix for now on. These guys are awesome Shipping was great everything came professionally packed and on time. I even spoke with their customer service team and the guy was super helpful. A+++ in my book!

Installed this in my 1990 Miata convertible along with new speakers. Great sound and features. Plenty of power.
