Great Value

I installed it in my car trailer. I wanted to play my iPod, so I needed a radio with an aux outlet. It works great.

The kenwood kdc 148 is a nice deal from kenwood for a great features deck, looks great, well lit, fairly easy controls, lots of clean power, easy to read digital screen, over all, i'd rate it at a 8.0 out of 10.0, kenwood quality, at a fair price!! only wish it had a feature to hold liked modes when the power is shut off, one has to reset the liked modes again, when power is shut off totally, which is a real hassle for us, since it's mounted in a house boat, which gets all power shut down when not in use, but for the average auto user, this would normally not be a problem.. good deal buy it!!

Great Value Radio

I installed this in my parents Jeep Wrangler and it fit great. Even with teh factory speakers, the Wrangler finally had a little bump in the speakers. Very nice radio for $80 and it has helped me continue my loyalty to Kenwood. I've never had one issue and have installed 5 H/U's for friends and family and they have all been content with them.

Great product from Kenwood

It took me roughly an hour and a half to install this into a 2004 honda civic. It is a good looking unit from the exterior and doesn't feel cheap like my jvc.
Sound Quality: This thing makes my speakers sound great, and I have 2 sony 6.5's in back and 2 stocks in front. The equalizer is what makes the difference. I really don't have any complaints with this, but I haven't tried the rca outs on my sub amplifier so until then this is a great unit for the price.

Good Deal

I was happy with the deck and shipping and all but the AUX port does not give a clear sound, the CD sound is great and is very HQ. Other than the AUX its a great deal.

Awesome Head Unit

As my first build, this will be a head unit that i will keep for a while. It allows you to control practically everything about your audio experience. Greatly recommended as a starter unit, affordable, great sounding, and awesome quality. Is a little bit difficult to snap back into place if you take the face off, though.

Great Radio

This radio is a great radio for the price, for me to get max benefit I would need better then stock speakers, but good enough for me.

Decent headunit

I've had this headunit for a year now and it's still running strong. I have only encountered one problem and that is that the speaker channels on the headunit have started to burn out. But RCAs can be used to run to my door speaker amp so it's not a total loss. I had it for about 11 months before I started having the speaker problems. It was overall a good buy due to the price and features.

great value, superb sound

The value of this unit is outstanding, yes it might not have HD radio, Bluetooth, card reader or 3 pre amp outputs, but for the price you get a good looking, superb sounding and easy to use unit with basic functions. My is in 2012 Nissan Sentra, driving, 6×9 Rockford fosgate punch up front and Rockford fosgate 6×9 power speakers in rear, and those speaker driven just by this unit, sounds superb, way better then by stock unit (obviously) and almost as good as my old set up on my old sentra with the same speakers amplified by pioneer 4 channel amp I had. So for me there no need for an amp for the speaker's anymore, happy with this unit.

The best budget deck you can get has a few good features and the sound that comes from it is awesome.
