Great addition to the Geo

I bought these speakers to upgrade the dash speakers in my 1990 Geo Metro commuter car. Now I've had the car 9 years, and for most of that I had Blaupunkt "pc series" 3 inch speaks. They were cheap and easy to find at the time lol. I knew these Kenwood's would be a for sure upgrade, and they were. They are pretty clear, and sound good. They are running off the deck, no amp. If you turn them up too high, they will pop a little from the bass, but if you are smart, they work just fine. For the money, I'm very happy ! If you're looking for a booming stereo, then spend more $$ ;-)

These are great speakers that fit perfect in a 1985 Mustang dash

Pretty nice

Like the way it fits into the original place of old radio. I wished the clock was displayed all the time or atleast the choice of it . Also would be better if the aux input was in front not the back . Other wise radio plays good has nice sound

Good sounding speakers for a good price!

These speakers are loud & don't distort when turned up. Very good value for the price. Would definitely recommend to anyone who needs an aftermarket speaker for their dash!

These speakers work great as replacement for my stock speakers.

Works just fine

I bought these speakers to replace the original dash speakers in my 1986 Mustang GT Convertible as the originals were shot. They fit fine and the sound is good. Overall, a good value for OEM replacement when all you really want is a decent sounding speaker.

I bought these speakers for my 93' Volkswagen fox because I desperately needed an upgrade.
They do sound a little bit better but they can't handle very much power. If I get my music too loud they start to pop from the bass. I do wish Kenwood made some better 3-1/2" speakers. You're better off investing in a different set.

These speakers were a perfect fit for my car and sound very good. I would buy them again if I was in need of another set.

DEFINITELY NOT WORTH IT

i just installed these speakers today and they sound worse than the stock ones in my 1989 mitsubishi montero.

Used these speakers in the dash of my 1988 K5 Blazer. Work great! Direct fit. Huge improvement over stock speakers. Running them off of a Kenwood head unit. More than enough power for these speakers. Sound quality is great! You wont find a better speaker for the price.

Good Sound

I used this speaker system to replace the seat speakers in the head rest of my Miata. It worked fine and sounds great. I don't know about the durability yet. I haven't had the system working long enough to check its durability.

If you have a small area these speakers work great have no distorion from high's or low's.

FRUSTRATION

The Kenwood KFC-835C worked fine for about two weeks, then stopped when the display informed me I should check the wiring and reset the unit. I checked the wiring, reset the unit and it worked for a few minutes and repeated the display with the "Wiring" problem. I reset the unit. It worked again for a short time. Sometimes it works for 10 or 15 minutes before it stops. When I get around to taking the unit out of my car's dash, I'll take a shotgun to it. I don't recommend the Kenwood KFC-835C unless you're into malfunction and frustration.

1.5 years old, one blew

I liked the speakers when I bought them, but one of them went out a month or so ago. I guess I'll buy something $10 more expensive this time..

Very clean sounding speakers.

I wanted to replace my 3.5" dash speakers from the factory pair. Sonic said that these speakers wouldn't fit my 2013 Hyundai Sonata GLS, but I decided to give them a try, and they did fit without and modifications at all. The highs are crisp and clean, and they compliment my stereo perfectly. For the price of these speakers, you can't go wrong with them! Give them a try, you won't disappointed!
