A Good Buy

This was my first sub, I have it in a '90 full size blazer (so it's and open area in the back). I think it works very well, it took me a little while to get the right setting on the amp(kicker ZX400.1) to make it sound good. It has plenty of pump you can feel it in your chest and it moves all the mirrors in the truck. I listen to classic rock, 90's rock and some rap/hip-hop. I think I should have gone with the 12's though, but I'm going to keep this until it no longer works.

Pros: If you are looking to add big bass to your system it is a very good buy for working on a budget.

Cons: I feel that it doesn't hit different freq, just one sound. "Boom" doesn't sound very tight to me.

loads of bass with dual kicker subs

I have these two subs in the trunk of my cavalier hooked up to a alpine MRP-M850 mono amp and a dragster 1 farad cap, pushing a total of 800 watts rms to the dual kicker CVR subs i did take kickers advice and ran these subs for about two weeks on low volume to work in the voice coils because subwoofers voice coils come really stiff new in the box so i worked them in and now i cant believe the output of these, my rear view mirror will not stay straight it just hangs down. They're wicked subs, i never was into kicker, always used JL audio I've owned the w3v2, w1v2, w3v3 and a bunch of other brands but now that i have switched to kicker I'm not looking back these have just as good of a response as JL audio but they have way better SPL at the same time, give KICKER a try all their stuff is good.

pretty great!

These subs sound really great for being 10s. If u didn't know it u would think they are 15s! They hit hard and deep and are very good subs for the price. I would definitely recommend them.
