Great Sub
installed 2 Kicker subs with Kicker amps in my boat this past summer. Great power & clarity. So good that I'm often caught unaware heading down the lake....a strong low note hits and I think I have a driveline vibration...it's just the power of the audio setup.

Quality Marine Subwoofer
At first I had this sub facing upward underneath the console of my Bennington Pontoon boat, then faced it downwards and it sounded even better. I have it along with another sub running off of a Punch 300 at a 2 ohm load which gives each sub about 150 watts rms. Because this is so well built for the marine environment, I moved it out from under the console and placed it in a corner area of the pontoon boat. It is now more vulnerable and not fully protected but it still does not get wet in the new placement, which allowed me to add a second sub under the console, although the second sub is not marine, it is fully protected in a fiberglass box. The only negative I find of this sub box is that the brackets are not super strong as my young daughters seem to think it is a special little seat for them in the corner of the boat, but the brackets have held up so far. So the sub provides nice deep bass, the box itself is well built (other than the rather weak attachable brackets), is definitely built for marine use, and is versatile when it comes to placement.
