Great battery

I have this in my drag car, works great starts the car no problems no leaking, it sits from time to time and still holds a charge with no alternator hooked up.

I purchased this battery to replace my current one and it surprised me at first. I was worried from its size that it wouldnt be as strong as my stock battery. I was pleasantly surprised when after running it for a few days it takes a tap of the key to start my car. 98 vw jetta 2.0

Good Product

Recieved product at a nice 13.5 volts. Product is small and light but packs a punch. Im using this battery as a primary for my car. It holds its charge well and performs as described. Only con is that the terminals must be VERY tight or they will lossen over time.

DOES THE JOB

I got this for a backup or 2nd battery and it works great b4 I got it I was having a lot of diming problems I was running about 700 watts rms and killing my stock system and yes I have big3 done as well so I ordered the hc1200-blu ran it into the back of my jeep and on the 700 watts rms there is no problems at all then I ran a new sub at 1ohm at 1000 rms and there was very little diming so slim to none that diming only show at max on low and I mean low beats all and all I am happy with it but you must understand one thing I have a 04 jeep libby and b4 the sub's amps and all of that it had diming problems off the stock system being the radio so with my jeep I feel there is a bigger problem but its an 04 and I'm not dealing with it it has less dimming then ever and to me that's great haven't had it hooked up to a volt meter since the hc1200 was put in but you can hear the diff. hope this helps someone



and the big ? I had about the hc1200-blu was can it take the heat under the hood and from what I learned yes it can for those of you looking for that app.

This is a great battery

I switched this out and am using it as a starting battery. It's not only made to be a secondary battery. I'm pushing a JL audio 1000 watt amp with 2 12w3 subs.i changed batteries because I was getting dimmed headlights with my old starting battery. Threw this in when I did my electrical upgrade in my engine and it's a world of a difference. When it arrived I threw it on my smart charger just in case. But it read as "full". So no worries at all. and honest to God it was the cheapest price I could find.cant beat it!

Kinetik hc 1200

I'm using it as primary battery in a 2003 dodge ram 1500...so far so good turns the engine over just as quick as a new oem battery...this morning it was 30º outside ..i had to modify the aftermarket install kit as it did not fit the dodge ram at all ( for that i drop one star ) and three stars for ease of use also one for durability as it has not been deployed in the field long enough to make an assessment

This battery is top shelf! I have a 1600 watt amp with 1200 rms and this powers it perfect. No more dimming of my head lights due to loss of power from my amp. This battery is small and compact but powerful! Comes with screws and terminals. Shipping was super fast, they said next day and it honestly was there the following day. I was amazed! Easy to install and very easy to fit into trunk. Would recommend for any 1200 watt RMS system. Will buy again!

I bought this to power a kicker dx1000.1 but quickly found out that it would not keep my voltage above 12volts. I ended up getting an isolater and a xs d3400 for my amps and just used the kinetik for my starter battery. Not really as powerful as advertised, more like 400 CCA 1200 max amps. It's agm so it's better than my stock battery at the same price. Might power 500 watts or less

Banking 2 together

This will be my second battery I have bought want more power so banking this to a 1200 rev kinetik tech said it would work no problem. So hope no voltage drops with 80 ah total be like 57 pounds. Wish I got a bigger one first time. Hope this makes my system even louder and might add a 3rd amp for more subs if it works good

A little too weak for 1200 watts

I'm running a 15-inch NVX subwoofer rated at 1000 watts powered by a 1200 watt Pioneer amp. I'm using this Kinetik battery as a secondary battery, along with a regular car battery and stock 70 amp alternator in my 2001 Subaru Forester.

At idle with a big draw, the volts straight from the battery will drop to 13 or so, maybe a bit lower. This is probably better for 750 watts if you want a stable voltage at idle. If you have a more powerful amp it might be ok.

Excellent battery all round!

I purchased this battery because I was having issues with my starter batterybecause of the stereo system I have installed. It is all JL audio speakers and amps. God forbid I left my music on for five minutes after shutting the car off, my starter battery would have to be jumped. Since I have bought this battery I have had zero issues listening to the stereo with my car off. Claims 1150 cranking amps and I believe it. I live in the Northeast we're for example yesterday it was 6 degrees outside. I have absolutely zero issues starting my car within one second of turning my car key. I also bought this because I was getting dimming headlights with hard bass hits.this battery definitely helped the problem, although I do need a larger alternator to completely fix it. But just replacing the battery alone helped greatly. I also ran 0 gauge copper welding wire to replace all the grounds and did a big 3/4 upgrade when I put this battery in using the same zero gauge wire. Overallthis battery is half the size of the one I had in there, but probably has twice the power. Highly recommended

Kinetik batteries are a great value...

I do recommend Kinetik batteries as this is my second one. The first one which was the HC 1800 BLU lasted me 7 years and gave me way more power than I needed as my audio system wattage was only about 900 RMS. To anyone on the fence, you want a good battery that will allow your amps to have the power needed to take your system over the top and Kinetik batteries are the answer!! Have also had Optima yellow top batteries in the past and they are good but can't match Kinetik batteries power especially when ran specifically dedicated to your audio system..

Great battery

Have had installed for over 4 years for my sound system with zero issues. Have used it a couple of times with the battery isolator to jump my starting battery and has worked great. My starter battery has gone low with the cold and this battery has no issues jumping it.
