Has survived 6 months in an open jeep
Dust and water resistant so far. USB and SD still works. Would be nice if it had Bluetooth. This isn't 2002, CDs are dead.

Great choice for new install or replacement.
I bought mine to replace a dead factory radio. I never used the cassette player and had no interest in carrying CDs around so the digital media options are first rate. Controls are mostly electronic, including tuning. The single control knob is mainly a volume control with secondary functions added.
Nice crisp sound, even with old factory speakers. Tuner is stable and static free. If you want loud, or deep base add an amplifier. Blue illumination is fixed brightness. North America and Europe compatible, switchable station frequency spacing. The iPod control cable connects on the rear so if you intend to use that feature have the adapter cable on hand at install. Chassis is standard DIN spec but still surprisingly deep for a unit with no mechanics (need over 160mm + room for wires).

It works
Must purchase a separate cable to use an iPod, can't use a USB cable. Won't read my micro sd card unless I use a USB adaptor. The radio works as it should. Has clear sound.
