Do not attempt to install a radio without a harness adapter. With this type of adapter you can do all of your wiring on the bench (or the couch) and then just plug it into the car's original harness. The plug was fairly tough to hold up to locking and unlocking it also had long enough wires so you can cut them to your needs also the wiring is real copper, not cheap bi-metal so soldering was easy
