Great budget speaker

I put these in the front doors and some NVX 6x9s in the rear deck on a Cobalt to replace blown factory speakers. They were just running off the (extremely weak) factory GM radio.
I was very, very impressed with their performance for a budget speaker. The tweeters were bright without being too harsh, and the bass response was unreal for the tiny amount of power they were getting from the headunit. Now, they didn't slam like subs or anything, but it was solid bass.

Great cheap speakers

I just installed these and I'm quite impressed. Clean highs that aren't overpowering, decent mids and much better bass than my stock speakers without distorting. I don't have them amped, I'm just running them off a JVC headunit but they still sound phenomenal with very little distortion at high volumes. I'll definitely be trying out other products from nvx.

NVX 6.5" coax speakers

For the price, you are not going to get a better replacement or entry level speaker. Good sound though they do not come with speaker grills/covers so consider that, should you need them for your specific application.

Awesome Entry Level Option!

I put a set of these in my access doors in my Frontier a few months ago and love them. I have the 6x9 version in the front doors and am powering them with a MTX 4 channel at 55x4. The mids and highs are crystal clear and smooth. I prefer the silk tweeter on these to other options that have a more shrill or harsh sound to them. Can't speak to the way they sound on deck power or the bass response as they are running on a high pass crossover through the amp. I highly recommend them and the combo pack with a set of these and a set of the 6x9's is what I did. Phenomenal package deal for the value of these speakers.

Works in my 2010 Silverado.

I used these adapters to install my old MB Quart 6 1/2" separates. They did the job. I put these adapters over some Stinger Roadkill that I used to deaden the doors with. I felt like some sort of material between the adapter and the door was necessary. I don't know that to be true, but can say that a good tight fit was obtained when I did. The clip at the bottom and one screw at the top kept the speaker secure. There is a place to utilize a couple more of self tapping screws if you feel the need.

Exactly what i was looking for

Needed a bracket for my new car door speakers and these fit perfectly in my 2008 Chevy Cobalt. Very easy to install. Very happy with the outcome.

Does the Job

The fit was nice and it looks good. The only problem is the pocket. It was slightly warped in the middle giving it sort of a lip. I had to super glue it to get it so that there wasn't a lip. The pocket also didn't want to lock in to the tabs that are there for it to snap into place. I've experienced this in the past with kits from Scosche that have the pocket. Metra makes one piece models for some vehicles, which eliminates the problem with the pocket.

Makes speaker installation much easier.

I used to just drill holes in the door and mount the speakers straight to the door, but the steel in the doors is thick and has a rolled edge, which makes drilling the holes very tricky and time consuming. These brackets mount just like the factory speakers, fit nice and tight, and space the speaker out some, which makes them seal against the back of the door panel, for better bass response. The other manufacturer's bracket is flimsy, only snaps in, and just does not work as well. I have used these quite a bit, and highly recommend them. Installing speakers in these trucks without these brackets is doing it the hard way.

Perfect for 2011 Buick Regal

Just what I needed to add aftermarket speakers to my 2011 Buick Regal. The stock midrange speakers are glued to the original mounts. These are a perfect fit and leave the originals as is to put back in the future. BTW - Infinity component speakers are a great fit and sound awesome. They come with a tiny Infinity emblem that I hot glued to the Tweeter grills. Nice custom touch! Now there is no distortion when cranking Rock. It actually sounds better with the bass turned down to almost flat, now that it has real speakers instead of the cardboard junk from the factory.

Great Speaker Replacement Adapter!

You require these adapters to place aftermarket speakers in the doors of some vehicles. Including Pontiac G5s WITHOUT the Pioneer sound system. My G5 has a Pioneer sound system now :) I had to trim off the screw mounts around the edges to fit the door panel back on seamlessly, but otherwise this is exactly what I needed, and probably what you will need as well if you drive these vehicles. It is possible to modify your original speaker mounts, but this is a far less labor intensive option, and you retain the option of placing your original speakers back in your car.

great value for the money

These were part of my first purchase of nvx products and they were amazing. straight off deck power these sounded loud and clear. the deck was a kenwood kdc-x300 and it has a ton of tuning features such as 13 band eq and multiple crossover points speakers size selectors etc etc (reason i bought the deck) and it made these sound amazing. can only imagine the sound off a amp doing 40 to 60 rms. as i said was my first purchase of nvx products and paired them with same model of 4" speakers. since then i have been using the v series speakers and vcw subs. all sounds amazing and handle power really well. highly recommended.

Update on previous review

So before I complained that the bass was a bit lacking on these - I withdraw this statement. With the addition of amp and head unit, these babies can sing to thier full potential, which is substantial. Compared to Clarion 1623S components, these have very rich bass - it won't go to 20 hz, but 70 hz as rated is I'd say where the frequency response *starts* to drop off, you can definitely get deeper that out of these, maybe just less intense than above 70 hz, but with some playing with the equalizer you can get a lot of that back. I find myself sending more fader signal to the back to get the bass output out of these that's missing up front. Overall, I highly recommend for the price.

Fits Perfectly

These worked great in my 2010 Silverado. The only down side is cutting out the tabs when installing 6.5" speakers. They cut out easy enough with diagonal cutters or wire snips. I would highly recommend these to anyone with a newer model Silverado.

Amazing budget sound!

I ordered these for a family member for Christmas for her Jeep Grand Cherokee. These in the back doors off of the factory Infinity system amp, and the 6x9 version running off of JVC deck power(factory amp only allowed low pass to front doors). I wasn't expecting much for a "cheap" speaker coming from a car audio background, but got them based on great reviews. They did not disappoint! Very well made, impressive sound, great bass response. Good definition, a little light on lower bass

These were a significant improvement over the OEM speakers in my 2015 Elantra base model. The mids and highs are clear, and not tinny. Naturally, I don't expect these to have full bass of a sub, and the mid-bass is good, but it doesn't seem to reach some of the deeper bass I'd like. Keep in mind of course that these are not expensive speakers. Can't speak to the durability, but so far so good.

Great speakers for the money, especially if you have a new hyundai. These as a replacement speaker will blow the stock ones away.

Off of factory power they have a great sound. The only issue I had is with the mounting hardware. When trying to use the screws that came with them to attach the mounting bracket the screw heads on 3 screws twisted right off. Still a 5-star product in my opinion.

NVX nsp69 & NVX nsp6.5 combo

I ordered the special offer of the nvx n series 6x9 and 6.5 coaxial speakers. I picked these because of the quality of the product and the review EXO from YouTube did. I first ran them off my head unit only, bass wasn't good but the midst and highs were noticeably better over stock 6x9 and 6.5 in my honda civic. They also distorted badly at high volume while powered by aftermarket Jensen touch screen headunit. I then added a Alpine KTP -445U 45wx4 rms mini amp and they really shined! I love the clean and clear highs they produce when properly powered. The bass is very tight and more punchy then boomy. I think more power would bring out the bass more but they are perfect for a factory replacement. I would recommend these to anyone. Better if ran off an amp that gives them the power they need but if running a sub and can keep bass low then they will work fine. Most aftermarket headunits/cd players only put out 15-20w rms, despite the box says 4x4 or 50x4. That is max power not rms. Google search rms power to understand what it means.

Great factory speaker upgrade for 4th gen Camaro / Firebird

Sound review. The sound is excellent thru the mid bass range and highs are smooth and natural, not harsh with the silk tweeter. So mids are full and highs are smooth and not harsh. Very pleasant. I will be adding a small 8" subwoofer bass tube to get the full range. But I'm extremely happy with the performance of these speakers being run off the factory Delco stereo. I highly recommend these for adult drivers like myself who like to listen to a wide variety of music styles. Very Happy!!!

Solid coaxials

Been running these for a few weeks and so far I'm impressed. Running them with my Alpine MRP-F300 for rear fill and they can pack a very decent bass punch when tuned to Bass EQ on the amp. Once they're broken in they should sound even better. Good power handling. Not the best tweeter quality, but expected in this price range. Great speakers to provide upgrade over stock system.

Front speaker mount

These brackets are the way to go. I used pioneer aftermarket speakers and if you use aftermarket speakers to use the original brackets you have to saw around where the speakers set in and cut the wiring. With these and wire connectors to match it plug and play and make install simple did both sides in 15 minutes. Hope this helps

They were included, but...

Purchased some JBL speakers to replace the fronts on my Chevy HHR. This is such a common problem that Chevy should offer to replace them with an upgrade, or send each owner some kind of cash incentive. However, these parts came with NO INSTRUCTIONAL guidelines! BAD IDEA to the manufacturer and the company selling it. After pondering the options available, I chose one and drilled two small holes and mounted them securely and vibration proof. Added about 30 minutes of brain and buying time. After mounting the first JBL speaker in the housing, and replacing the difficult on the HHR door panel, the sound incurs no rattle, with solid Bass and clean highs. Good bracket which would be excellent if there were any guideline as to installation.
