this cable is super durable!!! i recommend it its high quality just as stated... it is a little difficult to cut through and to size or strip but it has a double jacket allowing for long life and will take most any type of regular wear and tear

Amazing Bass Quality!

These are some meaty 10s. High quality bass and powerful. I have them in a 2008 F250 with a custom enclosure behind the rear seat. (The rear seat has been moved forward 2"). They are being pushed by a NVX JAD 1200.1 amplifier. TONS of power and loud, clear bass. Very happy with my purchase. High quality, affordable subwoofers.

Just buy this sub . I have it in a ported box 1qf in a 2002 jeep liberty . And it rattles the back so bad .

Wow the magnet is huge on this 10". Most people think I have a couple 12"s back in the trunk but it's just this bad boy slamming away. My favorite part is the SQ of this sub. It's definitely the best sounding subwoofer I've owned. Worth at least double! Beats out most subs in the 200$ range and it's half that. I love NVX now. Huge sound, huge quality, huge savings. You can't go wrong; very hard to beat. Perfect for my scion tc. Hooked up to a 3 channel JBL amp 500rms at 2omhs in a ported box and I love it. I'm satisfied.... for now..... but when I need more I will definitely be looking at NVX first.

I have been asked what pair of 12's I have, what 15 I have, is there a 15 hidden somewhere and "Seriously, all that from that little thing?" I have this in a .77 cu. ft. sealed enclosure (for now) from Sonic Electronix powered by my NVX JAD900.5! This sub is AMAZING!!! Tight and accurate, but still deep and boomy! NVX is GREAT! i absolutely love this sub. I installed it right after christmas and straight out of the box the surround was already softer than any sub ive had before after it broke in. i have this sub in a custom made ported box at 1.2 cubes and tuned to 32hz. right now its running at 400rms @ 2ohms with about 6db bass boost and this sub moves alot of air and hits lows very well. id recommened this sub to anyone who is on a budget looking for alot of bass. i only wish NVX made it in a 2ohm so i could wire it down to 1 ohm.

Just As Impressive As 4GA

I purchased this along with the 4GA NVX XW4BL20. You can see my 'With the Best of 'Em' review on that page.

This wire is on the same level as the 4GA.

It too has the nice wound bundles of wires, albeit only 3 for the smaller gauge, but the same quality is apparent.

The two wires separate with a little force, and it does not tear the shielding off either pos/neg wire.

Shielding is easy to snip and strip without losing (m)any strands of wire.

This and the 4GA variants have left a wonderful impression on me. Do yourself a favor and don't look any further for power/speaker wire.

boom per price

i just recently bought this from sonic and installed it myself. i have it on a power acustik razor 2500 amp which is suppose to put out 600rms @ 2ohms, which i do not believe since the amp is tiny. It will shake your car your trunk a little and vibrate your mirrors for a ten. For under $100, i believe that this is well worth the money.

Recently installed in my sisters car. Sound quality is superb, price is great, and speaker appears to be well constructed. So far the speaker could be comparable to high end sub's. Time will tell.

Truly fantastic sub for the money

When I decided to upgrade my audio build for the third time I was debating which high SQ sub to go with. My salesperson suggested that I couldn't do better than the new NVX subs. I was prepared to spend 3 times what I did for a JL or Focal sub. I was extremely skeptical until I heard a W6 and this VSW side by side. The sound quality was as good or better on the VSW and I purchased it for a fraction of the price. For the first time in my car audio experience the hype lived up to the results. You simply cannot go wrong NVX products.

I'm currently switching my entire system over to NVX. I've purchased all the wiring, subs, box, and sound deadener and have yet to be unimpressed. Do yourself a favor.....just buy NVX and quit wasting your time and money.

update

i have installed one in my car and has now been broken in and i can say that it is bumping pretty hard for a 10. it is also tight strong bass, but i am going to change out the amp soon, because the amp i have will get a little distorted in high volumes.

Surprisingly nice cable

Cable was 12 AWG as advertised. The jacketing consists of a soft-touch frosted rubber that's about an eight of an inch thick with a rounded side and a squared side. They are plenty flexible and the thick jacketing gives a little piece of mind that these would be able to handle moderately sharp corners under my carpet.

Really the only downside was splitting the pair with my fingers to separate the two cables so I could strip them. Doing that a dozen times got pretty old because they're stuck together well

I usually use knukonceptz oxygen free copper wire, but this wire came free with my subwoofer enclosure I ordered. The insulation is really nice, and the black/blue color coding is so much easier to identify than the color coding on knukonceptz speaker wiring.

usage of the NVX VSW104

Little sub... BIG BOOM!

I love this sub. I really enjoy people's amazement when they see it's only a 10! =) I originally had this sub in a .77 cu. ft. sealed enclosure and it boomed big! I now have it in a prefab 1.14 cu. ft. slot vent enclosure tuned to about 39hz. I was amazed at how much more this sub came alive! My neighbor is looking at replacing his 2 15's with VSW's or VCW's now. Another buddy wants to replace his 4 Kicker 12's with 4 NSW's unless I can convince him to get 2 JAD1200.1's and 4 VCW's! My VSW104 suits me just fine though... for now!

I purchased theses subs a week ago I was very hesitant. I always ran name brand but wow these subs hit pretty dam good I was running hx2 Rockford subs and these nsw hit just as good or a bit better I was suprised.I'm anxious to hear the vcw that r 750rms! Best Bang for Your Buck
