DJ 2 GO

A nice practice tool to train new dj's. Great for home beats.

Good unit wish the program had more features..

The Numark DJ to go is a good unit. Works fine, interfaces well even wit my older Dell latitude. The toggle wheels are a bit touchy. My sausage fingers touch the wheels by mistake making the song 'skip'. Would be nice if you could disable them if you don't need them.

The program it comes with is a 'lite' version and doesn't offer much for features. It doesn't create playlists or continue on to the next song once the first is over. I can create a playlist in something like iTunes and then use that. Perhaps the full version would fix that.

The unit itself works like it should. Turning my laptop into a DJ mixer with a cue function. You will need to buy a USB/ headphone jack adapter to use the cue function. I'm not a 'club' style DJ so I don't use the pitch and toggle wheel functions.

Neat little device...

This thing is simplicity in its most elegant form. With the ability to use two virtual decks on a single laptop, a smooth and seamless performance can be maintained.
The VirtualDj Lite software that came with the unit is Ok but I would
have paid considerably more for the full version. The full version of
VirtualDj is probably the best on the market in my opinion. I have used many but I won't go into details on those.
The hardware, although, is another story. The functions work as advertised but the construction seems a bit toylike. It doesn't, in its appearance, look like a professional piece of equipment. I still can't figure out how to use the headphone function through the computer. Maybe if the owner's manual went more in depth and detailed, I could figure it out. The crossfader works great and the beat counter is dead on.
Otherwise, I think it is a decent product for the money and would recommend it to others.

good deal

Good product; works great. Fun to use and easy. Durable and just great, even for someone who is not familiar with mixing.
