PAC OS1

The OS1 works flawlessly. It is very easy to install. When I activate OnStar the front speakers from the cd reciver mute and OnStar is projected through them. My cd receiver had the brown mute wire so I cut the relay off completely and attached the red power wire directly to the cd receiver's harness. Although the unit is quite bulky and big I still managed to fit it behind my 2002 GMC Sierra dash quite easily. The factory connectors plug in and clip for a very secure connection. It keeps the factory door chime and retains accessory power when you turn off the vehicle and take out the key. I personally don't like the retained accessory power (rap) because I have a removable face plate and I like to take it off as soon as I turn off the vehicle. I guess I'll just have to open the door a little before I take off the faceplate because I don't like removing the faceplate while it is still on even though it may or may not damage the cd receiver. All in all this I would recommend this unit to anyone looking to retaining OnStar capabilities.

Works

The product did the job when I received it the second time. The first time I was sent the wrong thing and the headache of returning it and I had to pay for shipping it back. The pack works great and haven't had an issue with it since it was installed. Absolutely no complaints there.

works great but can get for halve the price at competitors lucky i got a nice discount form sonic when i got my set up thanks sonic.
