Wouldn't work on my 95 Crown Vic
After seeing it and looking at the directions, it appears unlikely to be useful. It basically converts an amplified output to a line level. Just get a stereo with line level outputs.
As an aside, my 95 Crown Vic had a very strange audio system in it, where the head unit in the dash did not contain any audio electronics except to send the signal for the tape deck back to the unit in the trunk behind the spare tire. As such, this product could not work with it.

Not very helpful product
Bought this in hopes of ending my troubles of trying to install an aftermarket stereo on my 95 Ford Explorer's JBL premium system, yet my troubles still continue and I'm in the hole even more. First of all, the 16-pin black harness doesn't even mate with the one in the car, which is the #1 reason I bought the thing since you can't find a wiring diagram for the speakers anywhere. Second of all the instructions they give you are extremely vague and confusing, as it will use obscure names and refer to parts with that they do not even name in any diagram. Now I must splice the wires of both 16-pin harnesses and figure out which is which by trial and error, then splice the wires to the headunit, rendering this product just about useless.
