Very good sound for a fairly small footprint
First the positive:
1-Very good sound out of a small(ish) clock radio but only with pop or rock EQ setting, bass - great, mids - good, treble - OK.
2-Attractively styled, all aluminum cabinet is very sturdy, white LCD clock very readable, and dimmable!
3-FM tuner works great, very good sensitivity and reception with attached wire antenna, can switch between FM stereo or mono.
4-Nice to have a aux input for other sources beyond iPod/Phone.
5-Clock and station programming is pretty easy, if you read instructions!!!
6-Docking connector sticks out enough to connect iPod w/out removal from the case I have it in.
And now the not-so-positive:
1-Remote is too small w/ tiny hard to read buttons
2-Occasionally the remote control of docked iPod doesn't respond. You have to manually control the iPod, then it works fine again. Not sure if this happens with all 30-pin connector Apple products, as I am only using it with an older 80GB iPod classic.
3-Difference between each discrete volume setting, for example going between 4 and 5 etc., is slightly too large, sometimes one's too quiet and the next too loud, but this is really nit-picking.
