Great Radio for the Price!

I've had this radio for a while now and it still sounds amazing and I've had no problems with it. Powerful enough to make my Infinity Kappa speakers sound amazing.

Best bang for you buck!

I bought this product about 6 months ago. So far so good! Works great, no problems, and it improves my sound quality immensly! The high voltage pre-outs are a great bonus, it's easy to install (especially with the harnesses included), and you can never go wrong with a pioneer deck! Only negative is that when you plug in an iPod via USB you can only control your iPod through your deck and not on the device itself (it becomes time consumiing and hard to choose a song when driving). Otherwise an all around great product.

Very nice look and can't go wrong with 4 volt pre outs. I love Pioneer decks, highly recommend.

nice sound quality

I had a Clarion h/u before my Pioneer. The sound quality wasn't there but the pioneer was big difference in sound quality if your looking for something cheap with cool features and sound quality this is it trust me.

Great Cd Player

This CD player is good because it has a 4V out put.

Great unit

Sounds awesome. Looks great. I have this unit installed with Pioneer 5-1/4" components and JBL 4x6's with a Pioneer amp. EQ settings iPod controls and the numerous expansion capabilities make this head unit a great bargain.

Great unit

I like this cd player. Its not the best nor the worst. For the money you cant go wrong.

PROS: 4v pre outs, removable face plate, easy to use interfaces
CONS: display is sometimes hard to read when the sun is glaring on the face, they could have put a better EQ on it (you can control 5 frequencies 100hz, 315hz, something like 1250hz, 3500hz, for sure 8000hz) They used a graphic EQ, parametric would have gave the user more control.

OVERALL: great value, I'm not disappointed. I would recommend this to other people.

Nice unit

Lots of great features, plays pandora, modern looks. A little tricky to operate for my father but I havnt had issues with it.

Not as good as I expected.

First off this unit sounds great when you get it dialed in, but I have some issues with USB on it. I have lots of problems with connection to my iPod touch. I installed the first one and couldn't get it to connect at all. After I made a call to Pioneer tech support they told me to send it back and get a replacement. The second unit is almost as bad but I can get it to work every now and then. I chose to just deal with it and not go thru the hassle again. but other than that it's a great unit.

great stereo. bright blue LCD. i would highly recommend this stereo to a friend.

pros. great power lots of choice foe equalizer.
cons. screen would be nice if it was bigger. and have a flip down faceplate.

Bought this for my tacoma and it realy sounded good in my truck. I have it hooked to an Infinity amp and speakers and it is awesome. I know there is much better stuff out there but that is what i have and i like it as long as i don't over do it. This radio is now in my daughters car and she love it. I have a clarion in my truck now.

What a sweet deck

This head unit has a built in equalizer and other functional settings. With the little screen it shows different images, along with a detachable face for added security. Pioneer products never disappoint.

Awesome Product

Sound quality is unmatched. Plenty of adjustment and works flawlessly with iPhone. MP3 and Pandora/iHeart Radio work great.

So-So

I bought this unit here from Sonic. Wiring instructions that come along are easy to follow. Hook up into a Dash kit is a moderate job but nothing that cant be done. It states direct Ipod control but it does not work with mine at all. expandibility options are numerous, I use pandora quite often and it sounds great. Front Usb and Aux are outstanding. Display washes out easily in the sun.

Speechless

Changed out a JVC KPD-30 or whatever. After agonizing over which Pioneer to buy I went ahead and got the DEH-P8300UB. All I can say is WOW!! Hands down the best stereo I have ever had bar none. Its hooked to a 80 watt RMS x 4 amp. I would highly recommend this to any one that wants a awesome sounding system. I had no idea it would sound this good,I'm still giggly about it. I hope I never have to but I would buy this radio again in a heart beat.

Love It

Great over all product, has ok speaker RMS, nice voltage off the pre amp and features. I use my IPhone 5c with Pandora which works great. I have a back up 16 gig USB drive which never has problems. Plenty of features for sound settings from EQ too sound retriever.
I only wish their was more choice for face colors, kind of what like Sony offers but that is such a tiny thing it don't bother me.

Another great Pioneer deck

Bought this unit for a 99 Cavalier. It already had an amp for a set of Pioneer 6 x 9 speakers. Wiring was not an issue. I needed a head with 3 sets of Preouts since I wanted a sub as well. I already own a DEH-6300 so I'm familiar with the setup and controls. This unit seems more solid than the 6300. Especially the control knob. The fancy multi line display is nice but the radio location in the Cavalier makes it tough to see it. You shouldn't be looking at the radio while driving anyway. The unit has great sound matched up with the equipment that was in the car when I bought it - Xplod 222 amp with Pioneer 80W RMS 6 x 9 in the rear and I don't know what in the front doors. Pioneer decks have not disappointed me yet.

Powerful CD player, love the graphics and all the settings. Pioneer is 1 of the best brands for cd players. love it.
