3x12 in Ruby92

The following review is for TS-W310S4, which is a part of the bundle you are viewing.

Audio heads world wide, I'm writing this review to let it be known that THESE PIONEER SUBS QUAKE!!!! Not gonna geek up your head but, on a serious note, I own 3 of these BASS vibrators in a sealed box ran off a Hifonics Brutus 1100.1 @ a stable, YES, STABLE 1ohm! Doesn't get hot even after lenghthy playback. It's been cold here in the Midwest so will see what happens in the summer. Don't get me wrong, THEY QUAKE!!! Even @ volume 20 with the gain not even 1/2 way up. only thing like the previous guy said, after a while of Bass Ballin', lol, you will smell the coils. I personally think that it's my coaxial voice coils that I smell from time to time but, not a damn is given when I'm in my vibe. I don't have my 6.5s & 6x9s amplified yet so that may be why @ times I smell coil. And not only that without audio adjustments to the coaxials, they tend to sound muddy. They will try to produce the same bass output as the subs. So you have to make some type of adjusting (TO YOUR LIKING OF COURSE) to make it sound good. I drive a VERY CLEAN Ruby Red 1992 Chrysler New Yorker Salon. NOT EVEN 40K ON THE DASH & these subs SUB!!! Optima Yellow Top, brand new alternator, Pioneer Head Unit, coaxials & subs. My lights dim a tad when the low notes hit but a high output alternator is definitely on the way. Saying all that to say GET YOU A PAIR OF THESE, maybe even 3 or 4 just for starters. And when it's hooked up the right way come back and write a review on 'em. GAURANTEED THEY'RE WORTH EVERY WATT. Oh, 1 more thing, if you're even in the 2nd City, the GREATEST CITY, CHICAGO, check out Safe & Sound Audio!!! They're responsible for my immaculate setup. Steve & the guys are located on the Southside @ 317 w. 79th St. In between Harvard and Princeton. HAPPY SUB'N!!!!

Great value!

The following review is for TS-W310S4, which is a part of the bundle you are viewing.

Behaves much better than the previous TS-W309S4. I am running 1 of these with a PPI S580.2, and it bangs!!! Hits low bass very well. Great price for what you get.

Best bang for your buck!

The following review is for TS-W310S4, which is a part of the bundle you are viewing.

This bad boy slams, with the dual stacked magnet, and deep cone it just hit so hard and deep with just one of these on a 500 watt amp you will be waking the block!. Pair this with another TS-w310S4 and you will love your system, go ahead and start banging today with this, pair it with the rockford fosgate 1200.2 punch amp and kiss those other systems good bye.

Slammin'!

2 of these setup in my Samurai powered by 750RMS amp. Anything past 50% will make everything rattle! Get some dampener if you have a strip rig. I'd recommend it all day. If you have the extra 10 bucks, get the DVC thou so you can run it at 1 ohm (with compatible amp).

Just buy this and dont look back.

Good for the price

The following review is for TS-W310S4, which is a part of the bundle you are viewing.

In all honesty, I would go for a little bit pricier sub than this. I was running this off a Hifonics Brutis 1100.1D amp, 800watts RMS at 2 ohms and don't get me wrong, it bumps, but not as good as other subs. After awhile of slamming them hard I could smell the voice coils burning and had to lower my settings which took a lot of vibration out, you could still hear it but not quite feel it as much, I have it in a 3cub shared vented box so that isn't a problem.

Great subs for the price

I have 2 of these hooked up to a 1000 rms monoblock amp running at 2ohms. They are in a ported box in my 1995 Nissan Maxima and these things pound. People at my school hear me coming. Would recommend these to anyone looking for lots of bass without breaking your budget.

Boomers

These subs hammer. I have 2 of these in my s10 in a 1.2 cu box or each sub. Then hooked up to a 2000w mono. Running 450 to each which just above rms power which is good for subs. And these things pound. I've already gotten pulled over for having these things. I see no cons about them yet. They are loud, clean, and easy to clean. All materials seem durable and I've had them for 6 months with no issues. I highly recommend these subs.

For the price, it hits

Once the sub is broken in, it sounds clean and hits pretty nice. I am running 350 watts rms in it and the sub's max rms is 400 watts. The amp pairs perfect with the sub. But if you want real bumps, this sub is not enough. Get 2 or buy a stronger sub for more money. I don't like rattling my car or drowning out the mids and highs, so this sub is good for me.

These subs BANG!!!

The following review is for TS-W310S4, which is a part of the bundle you are viewing.

I would recommend these subs for the price and quality bass! I have 2 Pioneer TS-W310S4 in my 2008 Chevy Impala powered by a Pioneer 720 amp.

Subwoofer

This is a great subwoofer for the price. I was weary when first buying it because it was rather cheep. But after installing it really hits hard in my grand am. Its not competition material but will definitely add nice bass! Get it if youre looking for cheap

need help

I have 2 of these in a special sealed box with a 800 watt Pioneer Class D amp pushing it and they don't push as hard as they should so I went and got a 1000 watt Xplod amp just to see the diff and they still don't hit like they should...what size amp and what brand should I have to make these guys pump there hardest to sound there best?

Sounds Great Just What I Was Expecting

Currently I have two hooked up to my kac-9105d wired to 2 ohms running 900rms total. I've got my gains set fairly low because my alternator is bad but they still sounds great! Ported at 1.5 each they produce great low bass. It gets cold here in colorado, once they warm up a bit theyll bump all day long.

Awesome buy!

Worth every penny! Pounds super hard and sounds really nice. I have this in a ported box and it's really loud and it sounds good too. At this price point, it's really a good buy!

Good sub!

Just upgraded my sound system in my jeep. Got this sub in a sealed 1cu ft box, ran by a Legacy Icon amp 1100max. Runs at 500watts rms @ 4ohm and it shakes my jeep. Probably going to look into a ported box but really happy with my first system!

Amazing sub

I have this wired to my Pioneer GM-5500T amp in a vented box in the trunk of a 95 thunderbird... and this thing hits HARD! Just as good as my friend's 15 inch apline, but not quite as loud. But it is hard to believe this sub is only a 12. After bumping for 15 min my heart started to hurt haha. It has the perfect amount of bass too, it wont distort the rest of my music. Buy this sub if youre thinking about it, really inexpensive but hits wayy harder than you ever will expect.

Great Sub

I got this sub with an 1,800 watt amp and it works great. Of course you can get a better system, but for a single sub and monoblock amp, this hits really hard. My friend could hear my car from down the street, not even at full volume or bass. If you want a GOOD affordable system, get this sub. Other high end names are just overpriced. This sub will shake your car, while allowing almost all other sounds to be played along with it.

Decent subwoofers

I owned six of these subs. they sound really good in a good enclosure with the right amp and cd player. I have two in a 2008 malibu ltz with a ported box on a m500 with a pioneer tv deck and gave the car and sounds to my girl. it hits damn hard for a girl. SO I installed the other four in my 2000 buick regal in a sealed box and a power bass 3000d with a pioneer and it hits real hard it would have sounded better if i would have made the box bigger with ports holes but it sounded so good a guy gave me 600 dollars for it on spot at my job when he heard them and I only had them in a week! I only paid 350 for all four and the box. impressive. so their worth buying

Great sub for the price

I bought this sub over the summer along with a Boss amplifier and a ported box from Best Buy. The reason I wanted a sub is because I had simply no low end in my car (Acura RSX), as it has four 5.25" speakers. This sub certainly did the trick. It may be because it's in such a small car, but it delivers quite booming bass and I've never even turned the amp all the way up. Once it gets broken in and tuned correctly it sounds very clean, even with my ported box. I've enjoyed it for about 9 months now and had no issues. Overall, great sub for the price. I don't need anything louder but if you're looking to set off nearby car alarms you might need two of these or more powerful subs.

awsome subs

I have 2 of these subs in a custom box that vents the bass through the rear armrest in my BMW cabriolet. They are hooked up to a Rockford Fosgate p-800.4 amp getting 400rms to each speaker. These things HIT. If you want a great sub without breaking the bank, these subs are for you.

By Far, the Best Sub for a Budget Build Sound System

I absolutely love this sub. My set up is a just a small wedge box for my regular cab truck. The bass is amazing if you tune your amp correctly. This sub is definitely the bang for your buck.

Great BANG for the Buck!

I purchased these because my teenage step daughters had blown up a pair of JBL subs from another well known supplier. Come to find out the problem was poor workmanship on the part of the speaker manufacturer. I blamed the kids for kicking the system too hard, oops sorry about that!
So I looked around to find a cheaper pair that would work. What I got was an excellent pair of subs that I wish that I had started out with in the first place! Sound is great and no quality issues to deal with!
I would highly recommend these if you are looking for a quality produce at a fair price! Teenagers are happy now too!

Good for the price

I have had this sub for about 3 months and have been satisfied. The price is good, but it's not enough if you want really hard hitting bass. I'm running it off of a 400w rms amp and it does the job if you don't like to rattle your whole car.

Very Happy

I was buying these to replace a pair of Clarions, these ones were a better price and overall much better quality. I was very happy with the purchase and the service. The product was exactly as described, had a very good sound quality for the price. I have 2 of them on a Class D 700 RMS amp in a ported box and they bump really nice. Very happy overall.

Dope

These subs are pretty loud and durable as hell. For the price nothin beats em. i have had 2 in a ported box and it slams. I feel the need to get 1 15" RE but I don't think it'l hit as hard. Tight subs the Pioneers are.

By jeff on January 2, 2012

It is your box.

Go ported if you want loud. I used sealed for midbass purposes only. The Pioneer amp should be all you need. Put the 12's in 2.5-3 cubic feet each tuned to 40 Hz and you WILL hear a HUGE difference.

I would recommend the speakers to anyone. I have two in a ported box at 1.75 ft.³ each side pushing 450 W per speaker. It will about blow your head off. It's cool to sit in the car and have your hair move.

Really Awsome Sub!

This sub is absolutely amazing! I have one hooked to a Boss 1100 monoblock amp in the Metra ported truck box and it is a perfect combo in my jeep. It hits super clean almost as good as a Fosgate but not nearly as expensive. Its even loud with the top off the jeep which is awesome. I would have got two tens of this series but that would tear my car to shreds. Totally worth the money for sure!

Splendid!

I bought 2 of these for 99$ and everyone doubted they're good quality. I did the break in period. I had one guy tell me they wouldn't hit good, and i never played them after they got broken in. My volume was on 15 and i cracked both tail lights and had police visit my house. I'm currently running the subs off 2 different amps and a bandpass box. I cut bass boosted on and shatter my bandpass box! I recommend these subs!!

Pioneer TS-W309S4

Before I upgraded, I had two of these in a small sealed box on a pioneer gm-d9601 running 800w to them and they sounded great. I’m now running 2 sundown 12’s on 2000w and it’s not a whole lot louder, just a little deeper. I would say these are great for entry level subs and would definitely make the sound of your ride way better for decent price.
