If yoh have a limited budget, this radio is fine. If you want a quality product, this may not be for you. This unit has a hard time if you don't leave the vehicle in park untill it's fully powered on which takes about 15-20 seconds. If you dont wait, the unit locks up and won't do anything until you turn off the vehicle or hit the manual reset.

Comet the Spacecar

So my stock stereo went out and I had to get a new one then I saw this and thought it was awesome with the backup camera, something I have always wanted. Once it was installed, which sucked because I had no idea that a backup camera came from your reverse light. It took very critical thinking. When I went to install it I had to do some major work to get it to fit that far back in the dash. BUT!! Once it was installed I thought it was the coolest. My friend, who I'm with, and I thought my car seemed kinda like a spacecraft. After a few times of going places, and we got over the fact that this thing was in my ancient vessel, which is a 2000 Oldsmobile Alero. So after getting in my car one day with my friend my door creaked open. After getting in he said, "I can't believe 2000 was sixteen years ago." Basically saying, "WOW! YOUR CAR IS REALLY OLD!"...so I thought. After driving the short distance between here and the movie theater we had to find parking. Being opening night of StarWars it was popping. BUT I SAID, "WAIT, IS THAT A PARKING SPOT RIGHT THERE, FIRST ROW,THAT EVERYONE IS DRIVING PAST BECAUSE THEY WOULD HAVE TO BACK UP!?" Confused he questioned my ability to back up. By then I was in position and I put my spacecar in reverse and BAM!, I could see what was behind me. Stoked by my earthly gravity reverse maneuvering success I said, "I declared my spacecar COMET! who isn't completely old and is capable of unearthly things." After laughing for a second I also mentioned it's unearthly volume limits. Now I have to get new speakers and I can't figure out how to make amongst the lowest volume of limits actually quiet. Overall, great product! It is super cool.
