Great Sound! Great Price!
Ive bought 3 pair of these speakers One pair i put in my 78 TRANS AM, One pair i put in my 1995 CHEVY PICKUP and the last pair i bought i put them in some speaker boxes and hung them from the ceiling on my carport. Ive got them hooked into my 400 watt home stereo system. As you can tell i love these speakers. I dont know how long these babys will last but i hope it will be longer then my PYLE car stereo i had, it went out on me after only having it for 6 months.

DESCENT FACTORY REPLACEMENT SPEAKERS AT A GREAT PRICE
I bought s set of these for my kids car to fit in the stock mounting holes. I got them in with no problems. They sounded great, great bass, clear mids., until her friend cranked up the tunes and fried the tweets. Oh well...it happens. So I got another pair to replace them. I'm running an old Jensen cassette deck thru a 50 W. amp. into them, not much gain, maybe I should get a CD player so it won't distort, but great speakers. I'd buy them again if I need another set for a car, but this time she's paying for 'em.

Good with little to no bass
When the bass hits with these speakers, the high notes get really distorted if i have my volume past 25(max is 50). im not sure why it happens, but its nasty sounding. if i turn my bass as low as possible and adjust my stereo to high pass frequency 135hz i can have my volume up to 40 before the sound gets distorted. but at that point i lose the bass. i ended up buying subs so now it is no longer an issue but if anyone has any suggestions on how this could be altered and fixed i would greatly appreciate the information. the speakers themselves are really slick, have excellent quality with the high notes, when theyre not being distorted, but the bass is lacking.
