Good amp but way overrated
First off, When i purchased this amp i was not expecting to get the 400 watts Pyle claims but I was expecting a little more than the actual output.
anyways I tested the amp with a 1khz test tone and here's the results
RMS power at 4 ohms
13 watts X4 at 12V (clean)
19 watts X4 at 14.4V (clean)
22 watts x4 at 14.4V (clipping/turned to max)
RMS power at 2 ohms
18 watts X4 at 12V (clean)
27 watts X4 at 14.4V (clean)
34 watts X4 at 14.4V (clipping/turned to max)
It's a good amp if you're looking for an alternative to a head unit but it's definitely not an upgrade as it will put out about the same power as an average head unit.
