Pounding Bass

These subs are just plain out AWESOME!! I have them in my chrysler 300 with a rockford t-1000 & my fingers tingle from the bass when i'm holding my steering wheel. There isn't a car alarm in the world that's safe when I drive by with these things pounding!!

Great product! Not pleased with shipping

Great subs, the look and the quality cannot be beaten for the price. When I received these in the mail the box was all torn up with miles of tape around it, and when I opened it the silver ring around the left sub was gauged out and some of the paint was taken off. Just a cosmetic defect but I was not happy with this. Other than that no problems. I have these in my house until I get my new car, hooked up to a 220 watt amp and this little amp pounds these. Getting a t1000 bdcp amp soon

P3 loaded subs

What are you waiting for? Get yourself a set of these and enjoy. The subs are well made and the box is perfect. I could not build a box this nice, plus the box is made for these subs. Power them with correct wattage, use good wire, and if you don't know what you are doing have someone that does understand do the install and I promise you will love these subs.

These 12's hit hard good sound quality too plays the low notes real good and I have these hooked up to a 2400 watt class d acoustic had the gain not even half way up and it jus bangs and will be needing a new rear view mirror as a result

P3 Loaded Subs

I just wanted to let anyone know, if you are thinking about buying these, go ahead and get them. This is my second review on these outstanding subs. Year and a half later and still sounds amazing. They are in a Nissan Versa hatchback being driven by a RF T-500bdcp. These subs are in a class by themselves at this price range.
I'm referring to the aluminum cone and dust cap, and with the new price sonic has on them now, they are a steal. Get yourself a pair and have no regrets.

Best sub I have used. My car shakes so much with it. I have dynamat in the boot,it makes no effect. This sub goes really low. I would recomend it to anyone who wants some awsome bass..

These speakers are top of the line i previous had a pair of p2's but since ive upgraded i am very pleased and satisfied big diffrence in sound quality!!!!

better then i thought

I Usually like the sound of a sealed box, but since this was tuned by Fosgate. I must admit it sounds pretty good. Not quite as good as my one single ORION HCCA in a sealed box, but come on that speaker costed more alone then this entire set up and Im giving that 2000 watts. So if space is an issue but not money go with the orion, it will go much deeper. But if all your amps RMS rating is around 1000 watts? then this is definitely the set up to get!.. Oh and I had a Alpine that I blew, just getting back to you. Sonic did cover it !!! this is where i buy all my audio equipment!!

Get 'em

I was looking for some really nice subs that would not only hit hard with low notes on rap and hip hop song but also keep up with the tight fast bass for my metal and rock songs. These subs are literally perfect. Running off a new RF 1200-D mono prime amp (also from sonic) Dont let the ported box, and size of the subs fool you, they sound fantastic on fast paced songs. They are a bit pricey but trust me, they are well worth the money. The only minor draw back is that there is some port niose from there being vents over it but u only hear that if u put ur hear next to the box. All and all I love them, they look and sound great.

These subs will knock pictures off the wall literally that's how much punishment these underdogs can take giving the circumstances with the right h/u & amp setup people will look at you comin thru with a migraine with these things beating down the block

Outstanding performance

The looks, the performance, the price and this is the best way to go if it will fit in your ride. I have mine paired with a RF T-500 bd cp and it will beat my versa to death. I'm sure you will be happy if you get it too. As I always say if you like it, buy it. No regrets here.

Loaded P3 Subs

These subs are Rockford Fosgates top-of-the-line subs in their Punch
series. This set-up will perform better than most subs in this price range.
I think these subs will last a long time, if you know what you are doing.
If you compare them to the same RMS subs it is a no-brainer, these are perfect. So order yourself a pair and enjoy.

P3 loaded subs

The looks are amazing, the bass is on the level, and it fits in the back of my Ford Fusion with room to spare. I have mine paired with a Power Series T-500-1 bdcp and it pushes them fine. Make sure you give them time to break-in and you will have a solid sub set-up.

awesome subwoofers!

I have never owned and Rockford subs before!!! So I took a chance on these p3's and all I can say is wow!!! These subs beat the hell out of my maxima!!! I'm running a boss chaos epic 3800 watt mono amp at 1 ohm and th pricee bass is unbelievable!!! I recommend this box to anybody looking for pounding bass at a cheap price!!!

I would most definitely recommend these speakers to any one by far the loudest bang I have ever experienced, im starting to lose my hearing a little but thats what I bought them for, and they are top of the line sounding so I would say yes I am very impressed

Awesome subs - Awesome box

I purchased this P3 loaded encloser about 2 months ago. Iv had in installed for about 6 weeks paired with the 1200BD Rockford Fosgate amp. I am blown away how loud and how low these speakers sound. For around $700 my system slams harder then people who have spent thousands of dollars. However I do have over $200 in dynamat installed and an XS-D3400. Plus it's in a hatchback which I feel make its a lot louder. The only bad thing about this setup I don't like is, listening to rock or techno somethings the bass is a little "sloppy." I feel this has more to do with a portted box and not so much the subs themselves. Make sure to set the gain right or you will smell the coils burning with 10 mins! I finally broke down and bought an SMD distortion detector (which Sonic has for $150).

For those that dont know Rockford Fosgate is a pioneer in the game, great products...these subs hit hard, powered by the right amp, and cables..a trick I learned from a buddy for louder bass with your box, is spraying the inside of the box with automotive sound dampening spray, it blocks out any air gaps, and noises, but in all, good subs that will last if powered right, Rockford Fosgate never disappoints.

If you're thinkin' these subs are sub-par in anyway because those who don't know what they're doing write a review saying they blew them. Discard them from your choice immediately. I have this enclosure in my 2001 Ford Escape, with a Lightning Audio 1100D 2000watt amp that's rated at 1,1958 1 ohm stable pushing them. My gain on my amp is turned up half way and you'd swear that it's a competition set up. I have (in my doors) 4 Pioneer TSD-6802R with a HPF of 125hz set, no amp off my deck. This setup makes it seem like I'm in a concert. These subs hit so hard, and so loud and SO clean. would 1000% recommend.

No complaints

I was torn between buying the P3 enclosure or 2 Alpine W-12D4’s so I basically flipped a coin and went with the P3’s. The P3’s are already wired to 1 ohm in which I planned to wire the Alpine’s to 2 ohm if I purchased them. My plan is to have the P3’s running off a Rockford Fosgate Power T750X1bd. I currently have a Kicker CXA800 mono amp in place and the P3’s sound awesome no matter what I play. They don’t sound sloppy. The bass notes transition well. I’m looking forward to when they “break in”. I remain curious about the Alpine’s, not because I’m dissatisfied with the P3’s. I’d like to hear them both at some point as they seem to be comparable to each other. The P3’s have made me a believer so far though. Thanks, Sonic for an awesome purchase.

SUBS Rock very well

Killer subs to handle 1200 RMS. I am very impressed with the quality and sound these present. I rotated the SUBS 180 Degrees in the box and laid it on it's back to point subs UP in VW Golf Hatch. Quality cast aluminum speaker trim and steel port grill. the loaded box is heavy (90 lbs).

Punchin'

After owning these Subs with the loaded enclosure for about a month now, I can honestly say things have been great! I wasn't able to get the Rockford Fosgate Amp I had originally planned as it was a little expensive so I decided on the Hifonics Zues 2400w which has given these Subs plenty to rock the house. (no pun intended)

My mirror has fallen off completely, I'll need to get some adhesive to get it back on, my trunk latch has broken and the handle to my sunroof has also fallen out. (No really, there's no sarcasm or exaggeration in what I'm telling you.)

As for the rating of Durability is concerned, I'd like to state that I cannot in full-heartedness give a review, as I'd have to have the subs for much much longer to tell you whether or not they stand the test of time. But I can say that the build quality is *superb* and has very solid construction. The loaded enclosure seems to be very well capable of lasting a very long time, moreso than the last box that I had for nearly 6 years before it was stolen.

Overall, 10/10 for me at the present, for the rest of the review, only time will tell.

I bought this box knowing that the enclosure was engineered specifically for these subs. I have a PPI 7000 pushing these subs and it hits hard. I highly recommend these subs.

Great setup!

The sub setup came quickly and at a good price! These Rockford P3 subs are bad ass! I’ve had several Kicker comp 12s and these hit harder! I’m running the Rockford T1500 which may be a little much but I keep the gain down and they love it! If you want it to shake the body panels off go for these!
