Extremely impressive!
I went to a local audio shop and heard these 15s on my t-1000-bd amp and it hits so hard. I was gonna buy them from the shop until they said how much they are asking. This is the best website for any audio enthusiast. I will never purchase from a different online store for car audio or home audio.

I have two of these on a T 1000-1bdCP and they do a nice job.
They are in a Nissan Versa hatchback. I put them in a ported box.
These sub are by-far better than any other sub in this price range, at
least I think they are, You should be able to buy this sub and know
it's money well spent.
I took a few stars off because I think they should have the SWIFT
connection like the T1 and T0 subs and then it would be five stars across the board.

I have a pair of these P3 15s' in a sealed box on a 1200.1 prime amp and i am shocked that this low end amp bangs so clean. After booming for hours the amp and subs are cool to the touch, amp birth-sheet rates it at 1400 rms so each sub is getting 700 rms @ 1ohm. No one wants to be in the back seat of my ride lol and if i boom with the windows up they flex out past the rubber seals/trim. I can't see this setup blowing any time soon almost a year now and i go hard on them no mercy and still hits like new!

It's a DVC, 15" Rockford Fosgate driver. It's what you would expect from RF. Hours upon hours of clear-cut, back-pounding bass. Anodized Aluminum cone has a different voicing to it than the old SPP cones I upgraded from. A great investment that will last a very, very long time.

Before buying this product, I was very inexperienced and I had a shallow mount P3 10" inch sub in the factory Rockford Fosgate box. It was ok. I got tired of it and decided that my bass needed a real upgrade. I started looking at 12" P3s but eventually decided that I wanted even more power so I went with this great product. I am so happy that I decided to upgrade. I have it running off of a Kenwood KAC-9105D amp that I also bought off Sonic Electronix. Although I have my gain turned way down, my P3 is obviously still very overpowered. However, it handles the "overpower" exceptionally and I don't think I have ever heard the sub bottom out. I have the sub in a 15" super bass pro box and she SLAMS!!! Rattles my mirrors, my roof, my back glass, and every part of my body. Great product. I would recommend it to anyone who wants to pay for hearing aids when they grow older. :-)

This is a great deal I advise anyone who wants to buy product from this company to do so! I work in a stereo shop and I couldn't even get this product this cheap. After it was all said and done I saved a lot. So please give this company a chance to make your day

This sub can take a beating, I was feeding it 2000, it was eating that and asking for seconds, sounds crisp clean, hits all bass notes perfect. Make sure you have a box built to the factory specs to make it come to life, great sub.

Picked some of these up at a pawn shop for a great deal, tested them out and they worked so i was like what the heck ill try. I went to my local car audio shop and they told me the Pioneer GM-D8601 would be the best amp for me.. Well they were wrong, because its so under powered. Im only running 150watts rms Each when they handle 600. I have a 1997 honda accord and it flexs my entire car. Im talking about my bumper, my quarterpanel, my WINDSHIELD. Yes its not alot of Watts but its because Rockford Fosgate is so Clean with their bass its unbelievably loud. I have done demos in a Taco Bell drive thru, i shake friends houses when i roll up, i have friends doing demos and video taping my setup, its honestly worth every penny. Rockford Fosgate for the win! again i only have 2

My girlfriend wanted a new setup so I decided to build her a 7 cubic foot 4th order bandpass and mount this beautiful speaker inside. We had it tuned 31 volts ac which is reccomended for this woofer at 100 watt. (1/12 of full power) and a horrid smell occurred. Figured it may be a break in smell and just blew it off. Then I upgraded Amos after a month at 100-150 watts. Bumping it to around 600 rms which then the real problem occurred. This speaker was slamming! I mean sunroof warping in a 2010 Honda CR-V windows flexing at only 1/2 power then it shut off. Expecting a blown fuse. Fuse was warped but fine, later turned the woofer back on and a God awful screeching occurred and the horrid smell continued. Instantly took the 4th order aprt and looked at the woofer. Coils weren't that bad, then I flipped the speaker over and a knocking occurred. And the woofer was flexing free, completely disconnected from the coils and later to find out the motor was never tightened down which was ripping the coils and later it killed itself. I bought this speaker expecting it to be of fosgate quality, but I was sadly disappointed. I now have a soundqubed hds315 for $20 less and it makes this speaker look cheap, and sound cheap. I'm not saying I don't recommend this speaker but I honestly would say there are more speakers for the same or less value that can be better than this woofer.

I've had several one/two 12" systems. Nothing of them matched the rumble and hard shake of this sub. One in a sealed box with an Alpine 500 watt amp amd it still can handle more. The sound is very clean and little noise can be heard. It will flex you down to your toes.

found this helpful. If it's not the box...
I bought one of these a couple months ago, got it powered by a kicker zx1000, so you know I have an amp that does its power. I have it in a prefab ported box which is a mistake, but it at least has its required airspace. I multi-metered it to 500 rms, and it just doesn't seem to be doing it for me.. I mean, it's doing ok I guess, but you'd think a 15 like this would do better, it's either that or the box.. I'm thinking the box is draining it's output, but anyways.. The sub does the weirdest thing.. I can turn the sw level up on my kenwood stereo (doesn't matter what kind of sw level, bass boost on your amp, stereo or whatever) and it actually beats pretty hard when you do that, but shortly after there will be this burning smelling odor in my blazer and I'll cut my system off immediately.. I've went back there on more than one occasion and feel of the sub and its perfectly cool to the touch on the dustcap.. So I don't know what's up on that.. Seems like if the voice coil was burning then the sub would be hot but it isn't.. I don't know if its breaking the sub in or what, I've never experienced anything like it before.. But it isn't blown or anything it just keeps playing like nothing ever happened to it.. But for what it is so far, it has a good punch feel to it, not super loud but it's ok, has pretty good sound quality.. Thing is, it's in the wrong box, I will post a review of it again when I get a rf box made for it.. I'm sure it will do better.. But for what it is right now If you plan to put it in a prefab.. Better grab two of em so you have plenty of bass so you don't have to use any kind of bass boost, and having two would take the strain off of the subs, not sure what one will do in the right app yet..

I bought this subwoofer to replace my old system of two 13 jl audio w1 in a 3.0 cu box. After looking at everything I decided to get the 15 P3 because its by Rockford an everything I hear is good and its sold side by side wth JL at cartoys. im powering it with 500 slash from jl and I got it in a custom box tuned to 32 hertz with a 3 inch port vented into the car with the sub facing the trunk and it slams. it hitsall the notes a sub should and it pounds out the lows while still hitting the highs pretty good for a 15.

This is my 2nd review on the P3 15. I found out that I had the sub in the wrong airspace box. I had too little airspace, under Rockfords recommended. I put it in my friends single superbass probox to see what it could do and it really came to life! Had it all temporarily run off of a kicker zx400 and wow.. Eardrum rattling loud, I could only imagine running two of these subs off of the full 1200rms, freakin insane.. Highly recommend this sub..

These p3 subs are a steal for the price, I've been running my 2 p3 duel 4's in a sealed box paired with a 16-mc1.1100 Memphis amp, it does 1100 watts rms and dives the two woofers extremely well. And they have lasted also, over 2 years now and i really pound them on a daily basis. Great woofer for durability and sound.

I upgraded from a P2D4 12 and its no comparison! I have this speaker in a 4.75 cubic ft ported Atrend box I also purchased on Sonic and the output is crazy! I talked to Rockford Fosgate and they said the 2.66 environment its not actually optimal for the speaker it is the minimum. The informed me that the bigger the box the higher the output would be (Bigger Bass Response.) I have an RF Prime 500 pushing it and hits so hard! This sub is amazing in the environment its in!

In a previous car I had the 10” version of this sub. When I bought my grand Cherokee I ended up putting a stealth box in it which had a 10w3v3 in it. Having been used to the punch I was a bit underwhelmed by the stealth box. Initially I thought I could just replace the 10w3 with another p3d4. Unfortunately it wouldn’t fit in the jl box. Not being constrained by a 10” sub I figured I would just get something that had enough bass. To start with. The p3d4 is perfect. I have a punch p400x1 running the sub which is just barely enough power for the sub. My punches birth sheet said it put out ~535 watts into 2 ohms. This was a bit too much power for the 10w3 but I would recommend about 600-750 watts for the 15” p3d4.

I have one in a 3 cube ported box tuned to 32ish hz i believe. In an 02 ford ranger. It's loud. It shakes the front bumper on my truck. It broke the bottom of my 3 piece back window so the bottom of the windows are flapping around now. It can do a mild hair trick. Used my buddies meter running off his portable electric meter and it topped out at 140. Meaning It is probably just very slightly louder than 140db. Not the loudest obviously. But way above your normal standard. Im running it off a RE1500.1 giving it 700 rms. Seems to be handling it just fine. Probably wont last all year at that power though. But as of now. LOUD.

Rockford is by far the best subwoofer around in my opinion. And for this price you cant beat it at all! This website has the best deals. The sub gives you the best bump! Especially because it's powered by a rockford 1500watt amp. If you're looking for some bass go with rockford and if you got the extra buck go with the P3 15inch not the P1 15inch. They are both outstanding my buddy has 2 of the P1's but mine definitely pounds more.
