Skar isnt worth the money

This amp is good but sucks for the price, meaning that its over priced, i have gotten the sk1500.1d and i performs well, not hating on that and probably does its rated power, but in saying that 400+ dollars for this, nuh uh, i have it hooked up to a PSI platform 2 12, wired to 1ohm, i hits hard and clear, but the amp i had before was a planet audio anarchy series ac5000.1d, though the p/a isnt a big name brand or anything special it out performs this amp, and for the price u cant beat for one skar u could by 2 p/a amps and some component speakers, just not all that impressed, but on the lighter side, the amp is well built, has some nice features, like includes all of the mounting and tools to hook up wire an is pretty simple, though they also should proof read its instruction manuals before releasing them, cuz on this one for the amp it instructed that the power should be connected to the ground on the amp, bad news there, its just little stuff like that

Great Value

This amp has worked flawlessly for about a month now at 1 ohm load. This system is in my work truck and basically gets played off and on all day and has not had any heat issues,it barley even gets warm to the touch after full tilt demo sessions with brutal bass lines. This is a great product and the 70 to 100 you save for comparable amps can go toward other things.My system consist of xsp d3400,1/0 thru-out,130amp alt,excelonx988,2 sa-10's d4, ID ctx65 comp, ID i2300 and the Skar 1500.1. I am also very happy with sonic for the fast and friendly service.

AMAZING AMP!! I highly recommend it!

I just purchased my first SKAR Product. Yesterday I received my brand new straight from SKAR, SK-1500.1d. The amp that arrived is clearly brand new flawless and built like a tank. The shipping was super fast and the package was well padded so the amp was protected. The pure output of this amp to my Sundown sa10's is phenominal. I had a MB Quart ONYX 2000.1 (2000rms) on a pair of SA10s about a year ago and this SK-1500 easily blows it away in output and clarity.The amp speaks for itself. While there may have been things people did not like about SKAR in the past it is fairly evident to me that this company is now a great company to get products from. As for me I will now consider SKAR as my go to brand for products because what you get for the price is amazing.

Excellent product

Running this amp at 1 ohm driving a RE XXX12D2 and amp does not heat up one bit. Only quality amp with this power small enough to fit under rear seat. Very happy with features, and power produced. Extremely good value for the price. Would definatly buy more Skar Audio products in the future without hesitation!!!

Solid amp

This is a very versatile amp. It will give you enough power to push you want to use and have power to spare. It plays well all the way down to .5 ohms and will play continuously below 1 ohm. Great value for the price and the power that it produces is rated power.
