Looks and Operates Great!!

Fairly large so make sure you measure your available surface space twice and compare it to the faceplate cover dimensions. Looks and operates great. Door opens smooth with gentle damping. Don't know about long term durability but it appears it should last as long as it is not abused.

I used the stero cover on a motorcycle radio, has been in the rain and weather works great and has saved the stereo.

I purchased this radio cover for my motorcycle and I really like it. I would use it with a radio that has push button volume because it is hard to turn knobs while rideing my motorcycle.

The scosche ACM-1 is by far the best of its kind

The scosche is the best, do yourself a favor and by the best the first time, I have tried them all and none of them work or look like the scosche. there is another out there that looks like the ACM-1 that because it is with another name on it, save time & money buy scosche from Sonic

Provides cover but not protection from elements

While this product might help keep a head unit out of the sun I am not exactly sure it will keep it cooler than if it were uncovered in the sun. One thing is for sure, the sliding face plate gets jammed up with dust very easily and the open knob is delicate. I use it on my boat stereo and it provides little to no protection from rain or water being splashed around. It might work well in other applications but not so much in boating.

The fit of the cover was very good, pricing even better. This one is installed on the fairing on my Road King, keeps things nice and dry

Excellent Product

My Harley was on a trailer being pulled to and from Florida in June, 2012 and went through 4 days of heavy rain storms. I had just put in a New Clarion stereo and was worried it was going to be ruined. Not the first drop of rain made it through this cover at 70 mph in 4 days of down pour. The only problem was the drawing schematic with the cut-out size was wrong. Whomever drew out the cut-out on the paper did not have the right size. The measurments were right, but the diagram was wrong. This product will be put on anyother motorcycle I should buy in the future.
