Tight fit but it works

Vehicle: 2002 BMW 330i
I discarded both the supplied rectangular plastic shim and stereo's metal sleeve. The stereo was a very tight fit (Pioneer DEH-P5200HD). I also had to get a key-hole saw to remove a plastic brace in the rear that the factory radio had used to get all the cables and harness adapter to fit behind the new stereo. BMW does NOT make it easy.

This fits properly and has a decent finish. This is a functional solution for anyone who is ok with having an off center replacement stereo.

It does the job

The fit is a little off, but we just cut some pieces off and modified it.
I have an '02 bmw 330 ci to give you an idea.
But this main issue was also because the deck design didn't quite match this cars dash as it extends out.
Otherwise, it is sleek looking, will match the dash color well, and blends in. It does the job!

Good for the money

It closes the hole right. it looks a little flimsy but it does the job.

BMW owners get a bad rep as being, lets say, persnickety or AR. NOT true. We just want things to be right. Well trust the folks at Scosche they have this right. It fits over the face plate instead of the bezel and it looks great. There is even room beside the head unit to put a USB, AUX port or alarm system LED indicator. Plus it was free with the purchase of my Pioneer CD RDS Receiver.
