Great design

The added slot works great for a place to keep the empty case for the CD you're playing. It was an easy install in my 2001 Ram. Very pleased with this unit.

Necessary evil at fair price

Unfortunately, if you upgrade you car's factory stereo system, you will need to purchase a kit with the necessary trim pieces to make the installation look decent when you've finished. Sonic had the kit I needed, the price was fair and they delivered quickly.

Don't be stupid...

If you're installing your own car audio system use Scoche harnesses and adapters. You'll be glad you did! There's a product for every make and model and they make the job much easier.

Did the job.

I received this kit with my stereo upgrade and it did the job. It takes a little configuration to adapt to your stereo, but fits properly if done properly. I would recommend.

Go with the free one if offered with your head unit. I had to break out the rotary cutting tool to shave off all the unnecesary tabs around the edge. So it wasnt all that compatible with my vehicle afterall. The cd slot is only big enough for a single cd case - just saying. After modding, it worked - and thats what counts right :)

Looks good

I used this in my 01 ram 2500, it looks great but took a bit of figuring out to cut the right tabs off to fit right in the dash. the tray it has is to small for being useful for abything but still looks good.

Simple Install

Easy install in 2001 Dodge Ram and it fits flush with dash...looks good.
