Comes with the wiring you need and looks better than the stock face (of course). Put it in a 97 ford escort lx, and installation was easy to do.

recommend product exact fit. only thing i changed was the color of the lcd bulbs they shine real bright and are orange did not go with rest of car.

Fairly good Product

Product does what it is suppose to, it allows you to add in a new receiver by keeping the same football shape of the factory head unit. The lights for the temperature and fan speed dials are placed in very weird spots, i had to take one out to install it correctly, which is a pain in the middle of the night trying to see where your fan is blowing.

Perfect Fit

This was a perfect fit for my dad's 1999 Ford escort lx I had very little trouble installing it. After some minor adjustments it fit perfectly.

Pain in the butt to install, didn't come with knobs so you have to rob them from your stock HU. The switches are odd and don't line up right. Low quality! Would have gotten a better review if it was LESS EXPENSIVE!!! I have a SUNDOWN AUDIO Z and it vibrates the thing out with little to no effort.

Bought this kit for an install on my moms car. Kit works ok, but had a few minor issues. Issue one- the wiring for the led lights are not tucked away cleanly behind the plate, so use care when doing the final push to lock this into the dash. In my case, one of the led leads got pinched off due to it hanging out the bottom of the plate. No big deal and nothing a dab of solder couldnt fix, but just keep that in mind, and maybe zip tie or tape the wires up behind the plate to keep them from trying to hang out during that final push. Issue two- had to trim away some excess material from the sides of the plate in order to give the locking mechanism clearance to actually lock into the dash. Issue three- the trim ring provided doesnt fit and sit as well as it could and should. Its also very cheap and cracked with absolutely no effort. Tried using the head units trim ring, but the quirky opening where the head unit inserts is too large at the corners and head unit trim piece left ugly unsightly gaps around the opening(mainly at the corners). Other than that stuff, and the ungodly bright rear def light, this kit works well and does what its intended to do...add an aftermarket head unit to the worst designed stock unit EVER opening.
I found the instructions to be a bit vauge, but if you have a shred of common sense, you should be able to figure it out fine.
Kit looks better than stock when installed! Finish on kit is not cheap looking. Actually looks on par with the stock finish and that was a nice +. Bottom line, this kit works.
