Matches the dash well enough. It is pretty obvious that the setup is an aftermarket set, so don't expect a seamless-OEM-look . There isn't anything like that available w/o getting a custom dash. Nonetheless, the dash kit is fine, and works well. Follow the directions!

This product was very easy to install, only took seconds. The only problem that I had was with the head unit fitting inside of it. I had to notch the sides out a very little bit in order for the head unit to squeeze inside, but I would recommend this product.

I used this adapter for a Jensen 9424 going into a 2005 F-250. It fit the ford fine, but it did not fit the radio. I had to cut the inside areas of the rectangle in order for it to fit around the radio head. I am a master mechanic and if I did not have the proper tools to do this it would have looked like crap.

This was thrown in for free due to buying a head unit and amp together. I attacked this to the head unit and went to install it. Found out it was put on the head unit upside down. Uugghh. I had to pull everything back out to flip this around. I wish it had been stamped up or down. Would've saved me allot of time.

This product was fairly easy to install and makes the stereo appear to fit perfectly in the dash. Comes with spacers just in case and great instructions and Left/Right label on product for proper install.

Very Good Fit

This product is easy to install and work with. I'm glad that i bought this kit it also has options just in case there are small differences in head units.

Works but seemed flimsy

Don't like that you have to cut off some of the extra screw placements to get it to fit your vehicle. Plus the screw placements are not holes its a "U" slot so it spreads easy. Once it is in everything seems secure just wish it felt a little more sturdy for piece of mind.

You need this item to install an aftermarket radio system in your factory dash. Looked great and fit the factory dash fine. Had some trouble with the alignment of the screws through the Scosche adapter plate bracket but with some modifications the install was finished neatly and new radio looks very "factory installed".

Pretty Good

This product fit was so tight I actually have to trim it to fit the radio. I bought it with the Boss BV9565BI. Also, the instructions could have been better, I spent an hour trying to install it backwards, then realized it went the other way. A simple picture would have been nice. But in the end, it got done and looks nice.

Great fit and finish

It is difficult to brag about an item that you barely see. The adapter seemed to fit as if it was made specially for my Ford F-150 truck. Since it was no doubt made as a universal fit for several different vehicles, they included a bit of hardware that was not needed. Overall, I am very pleased with the Scosche adapter kit I got from Sonic Electronix.

Can't complain when it was free

This item ended up being free with the purchase of my Pioneer AVIC-Z100BT. The only problem I had with this kit is that I have to modify it to fit into my 2005 Ford Mustang. It wouldn't fit right, but after I shaved off the pegs it fit great. Then again, you cant expect something that is made for multiple cars to fit perfectly right out of the box. But like I said, you can't really complain when it is free!

Mount for F-150

First time I have ever used a plastic radio mount, but hey it works. The instructions are next to nothing. I noticed the two spacers that are labeled left and right are backwards. I did not need them, but if you do, you can hold them in place with a piece of tape.

Overall, it fit my dash, and works as it should.

This is easy to use if you have the screws to attach it to the stereo...the stereo I bought didn't come with any mounting screws..not sure if this is the norm or they forgot to include them...anyway, I broke the bracket using screws I had to scrounge...SONIC folks were great and sent me a replacement for free, including free shipping....system is installed and works great.

Great Product!

This kit was easy to install! It came with easy to follow instructions that made the install so simple. The only problem I had wasn't the kits fault. It is designed for typical double din radios, not cheap double dins such as the Lanzar model that I ordered from Sonic. The frame on these radios are a little larger and the kit opening will require trimming which turned out to be a real pain. Overall though, this kit is great! I would highly recommend it and I've been installing car audio for 20 yrs.

Not very Sturdy/Strong

I suppose at the sale price it wouldn't be a bad purchase but anything higher like I paid I'd have to discourage purchasing this item. I had to remove my Head Unit quite a few times while installing and then again when I hooked up the rear view camera. In doing so one of the pins that helps hold the adapter in place within the dash snapped clean off. I tried to super glue it, J B Weld It but no luck so now the radio sits sorta cockeyed in the dash.

Bought this fit just like it should Clean look just wish the tabs were made stronger or came with washers
It might have been me but put the radio in then had to take it out when I did one of the tabs broke so I got a few (4) washers and put it back together holding good but I think it could have been made out of stronger plastic

Does what it supposed too

The scosche kit fits in my 2007 F150 and does its job. I'm not too happy with the look. The angle of the bezel doesn't fit flush with the dash completely. The bottom is flush, but the top angles in where I can see a slight gap between the bezel and the dash on each side. I'll try a Metra kit soon and see if it will take care of the visible gap.

Boss 9685 2007 F150 install

Once I figured out that the trim ring on the head unit had to be removed for it to work, things were fine. The shape and finish/grain of the dash kit doesn’t quite match the shape or finish of the Ford bezel or head unit, so it looks a little odd. Boss recommended the Metra part which may have been a better match, just speculating. Overall, it works, but would dig around to see if there’s a better alternative.

The kit did not fit as well as advertised. I had to make modifications to get it to fit

This kit is not strong/sturdy, and it would be easy to have your unit stolen without and special tools. The kit needs to be more robust, and allow for more adjustment.

I installed a Pioneer AVH-x4800BS head unit in my 2007 Mustang GT using this dash kit. Results; looks like it came from the factory. Very happy with the result. My only complaint, and it's minor, is that you have to cut off a couple of tabs for proper install on the Mustang. I realize that this dash kit is for various models, which is why the additional tabs. Minor item, good results are what we are looking for.

Came free with the stereo. Fit my car perfectly. Only thing is it did not come with the screws to attach it to the deck.

Pros: The dash kit shipped was designed correctly for my vehicle. The instructions were clear, making installation easy.
Cons: The reinforcing portion of the dash kit had to be slightly trimmed to remove a small portion of plastic to allow the radio to seat properly in the chassis. Also, I had to purchase some slightly longer attaching screws to accommodate the extra plastic reinforcing piece when the radio was reinstalled. Not really a problem--just an inconvenience.

The antenna adapter should have been included in the installation kit. The radio pops when it comes on, probably due to the amp(original equipment ) ; however , I do like the radio.

This was easy to put together and it fit perfectly in my dash. I used this for a 2008 Ford F-150. Others have said it makes it look stock but I doubt that. I haven't seen a dash kit that makes it look stock this one does a pretty good job. I have mostly been a metra fan but this dash kit did not disappoint.
