Overall the product is effective, however, it does not connect to the key "power" to turn it off and on with the key.

Recommended by sonic and amazon, but wrong harness
I have a 1998 Oldsmobile Bravada.
Both sonic and a***** listed this harness for my vehicle.
However, it's the wrong harness...totally different shape.
Luckily I only needed to splice in the power, and used an amp for the speakers or it would have been a nightmare.
Just a heads up for people that have a bravada.
Wasn't sure what to rate, as it's not the harness' fault that it didn't fit.

Does the job, mostly
This does the job; however if you wish to retain accessory power after the car is turned off or some of the other features in your GM vehicle, you may need a special box. You should do some research and see if you vehicle uses the GM dock and Lock system, if so you will likely need the box to retail all features of your car.
