It works.

I have a 2007 New body Silverado with Bose and On-Star. There are 4 connectors that plug into this box that are not very secure at all, but I ran tie-wraps around them to make a tight connection. Once everything was put in, I was able to retain the factory amplifier, door chimes, blinkers, OnStar and everything else. Also, my factory Bose speakers sounded 1000 times better.
Beware, the actual box is pretty big, and there are alot of wires coming to/from it, so it makes it a pain to stuff it all in your dash, especially with iPod controllers, amplifier RCA cables and etc. I had to cut a piece of plastic from the dash with a sawzall to make it all fit.

This unit works well with a 06 impala SS. Very easy to install and it kept all the chimes working flawlessly. The impala has a bose audio system, just the regular one, not the "premium" which is NOT compatible with this unit, hope this helps...

Great place to do business

We have bought two Sirius radio and camera etc for each of our cars, and we love them. The people here are terrific to do business with. They do terrific work and have best products.

Waste of money

The main problem I have is that the adapter does not have solid connections. Everytime I hit a bump a buzzing sound could be heard in the speakers. Packing insulation foam around the connects worked for a little while. I got fed up and bought the PAC-4 which is more expensive but a far superior adapter

Not worth it

I've had this thing for 6 months now...

Got this for a 09 Silverado 2500HD. The chimes do work OK such as low fuel, light left on ect.... However the turn single is the most annoying sound I have ever heard. Although you can turn down the sound of most ALL other warring chimes, BUT NOT THE TURN SIGNAL????

The door lock chime hardly ever works the way it should.

Way over priced... If I was you I'd look for something better, or do with out.

Not bad

This product works well, i had trouble at first with the wire connections coming loose inside the dash but I electrical taped them in tight to make connection and it works fine now. only other complaint is stuffing it in behind a dvd player what a pain! Other than that it does what its supposed to and im happy

Does What It's supposed to

This module work as described. This is the first one I tried and it worked fine, not too big was able to fit it behind the radio in the dash. As far as the plugs fitting loose mine seemed to snap in pretty tight , but i still put zip ties around them just in case.

The product make my radio started humming 2 weeks after it was installed by a professional installer. He warned me not to use this particular one. However I expected him to say that because he was carring a different model. I have to from time to time bang on the dash board to make it stop. I was not to happy about it and If I was to return it now I would have to repay for the programming and install again.

Worked great

This worked flawlessly with my truck. It's not screaming loud like factory chimes.
Only downside to this is the speaker in this isn't that great of quality so it sounds kinda static when chiming. (though it was a issue but every one I've owned did it). But doesn't really bother me
Second thing about it is the harness wires aren't very long
I was very cramped when installing this but it worked out

Other then that everything else seems to be flawless

If you have an 09 GM - Caution

Unit works fine in my 09 Silverado, EXCEPT there apparently is no way to control Onstar volume. According to Scosche, the steering wheel or dimmer procedure to control onstar volume doesn't work in the 09s.

deck turns off

I bought this for my 09 sierra, chimes work, saves on star etc, There is a way to turn the volume down for 09s you just gotta keep trying it, i did it. The only problem I've been having is that my deck will randomly turn off because the module cannot keep a 12v. maybe i just got a faulty one, I heard Pac audio is a safer option
