Although the installation kit will not snap onto my dashand, I would still recommend this item if you want to install a double din radio on your own and avoid ridiculous installation charges

High quality plastic, but does not fit securely in the car's brackets
I have a 9G Galant and got this because I wanted an aftermarket radio. I was surprised at the quality of the plastic. However, I was disappointed in the craftsmanship of the piece. If you rub a hand across the piece, it can be dislodged from it's brackets, which is pretty bad. I wonder how this stacks up against the Metra version.
