Tried this on my 2002 civic ex coupe......doesnt work at all for deep speakers like infinity kappa. ......for regular speakers it fits fine but u have to drill into the door....what I did was use the stock speaker housing and used a dremel and fit my infinity kappas fine that way

Worked like a charm!
In had to drill some holes in the door frame to mount the adapter, but my 6 1/2" 2-way Panasonic speakers fit in the bracket perfectly!

works just fine...
Works perfectly fine... the plastic is a little weak in some parts but if you're careful you shouldn't have any problems. Once its on the car its solid.
