made installation of speakers much easier
Ordered these plates to use in my car as the previous owner removed the stock pieces and speakers.These made my install so much easier and a nicer job overall.

They seem good
I just received these - they seem of good quality. However, they came with no documentation and beyond that, most websites that sell these don't tell you anything about the product other than saying "will fit 5.25 or 6.5" speakers". Really? hear a lot of users say that 6.5" won't fit while a few say it will. This makes me assume that not all 6.5 speakers are created equal.. Couple that with the fact that finding the cutout dimensions for most of these speakers is hit or miss.

Not all 6.5 speakers are created equal.
Was expecting, but my Rockford Fosgate Prime R165X3 will not work with these. The brackets require the speaker cut-out to be 5 1/4" to fit properly. The basket on the RFs won't seat in these.
