Good product

Well I guess it was my fault at first, not realizing this was a universal 1st gen Scion dash mount. I thought it was made only for my tC which left me confused for half an hour. Then I read that you're supposed to snap parts off that your car doesn't need. All in all, it does what it should, but the pocket is sort of warped when I attach it to the dash mount.

Sleek

Thanks to the face plate that was provided for FREE, my head unit looks sleek and not out of place. Plus, it offers a great place for my phone.

Mount scion xb

Well it's great because I got it free. When I got it one side was all ready snapped off so I made it work. Hold my deck in but not tight. Over all I would get another one if I needed one.

Very good product!

Definitely need to read the instructions, as this unit is made to fit several Scion models. A bit tricky to put together, but if you follow the directions and patiently put it together, it is a solid unit with great fit. The thin storage pocket is great for storing iPod/iPhone.

Fit well in the Scion xB dash, pretty easy to install. I drilled a hole in the back of the storage slot to run the iPod cable. Makes for a nice place to keep it with the wires out of sight.

Works with a few modifications

I mounted this in a 2006 Scion TC. It took a few modifications to make it work. You have to use a saw to cut off the extra parts to make it fit. That is not big deal. They just don't explain it in the manual. Works great, though

Good Quality

Got this free as well as a wire harness when I bought my Sony headunit from Sonic Electronix. Can't complain cause it was free. Just a heads up, read the instructions before installing because it is a universal kit. In my case, i had to break some pieces off. Also, the pocket is a little too small. I had put my remote for the headunit in the pocket and couldn't reach it cause my hand was too big. If you want a bigger pocket, get the Metra 99-8209. The pocket is way bigger.

It's ok

I looks nice and is pretty solid. Doesn't fit properly in the Scion xB until you make some mods to it (which involves breaking some pieces off). Otherwise fits nice, doesn't give very good support if you want to play a CD.
