Great Potential Solution
This would have been perfect if the 16 pin connector had fit into the Pioneer receiver. Apparently Pioneer has changed their 16 pin connector on the Pioneer DEH-X6500BT or Scosche put the wrong connector on the harness. Anyway, I didn't have time to ship it back and wait for a correct part. Splicing was a better choice for me and not very hard. After splicing the Toyota connectors into the wiring harness that came with the receiver it worked good. I would recommend this harness but order it early and try the fit into the receiver while you have time to return it for exchange.

Makes HU Install Easier
Made the job easier. Clipped the Pioneer end off of this to use the connector that came with the Pioneer AVH-P4400BH HU so I could hook up additional wires like backup camera. Install completed using this connector on '04 4runner SR5.

Worked like a charm
Super easy to use. Worked like a charm on your basic HU. This won't work as well with HU that have backup camera etc..

Good harness for toyotas
It's a great plug and play for older generation pioneer radios, I had to do some rewiring on the harness that came with the head unit as it was a newer model, but other than that good stuff, bought an extra one for future cars
