no bass

i bought this box because of it design. it fits under the back seat great. it doesn't have a lot of square footage especially after you put in some subs. i bought the shallow mount clarion tens thinking they would sound good in this box because they only need 4.65 cubic feet , and remember the mounting depth of the subs are 3 inches. but the displacement makes the box below what you need so my subs sound really bad if you turn them up at all. so if i were you i would not buy this boxes. i ended up making my own to make the subs sound good.

Decent Box

I ordered this box 2 months ago with the assumption that the box was 1.6 cubic feet per chamber. I was sadly disappointed to find that was the total volume of both chambers.
however i found the build quality to be more then sufficient. It is very strong and as such very heavy.
I loaded the box wuth 2 MA audio subs mounted inverty(due to the size of the woofer structure it would not fit in the box). I am powering those with a 1000 RMS amp.
With this setup i get very tight and bass with a nice rumble. However i can feel the subs begging for more volume. It required almost all of the power to get real powerful bass so i would suggest getting the other box listed that has that has a higher volume. I have just purchase it.

I just got the box delivered today and its very nice. The terminals are gold, and its double baffled.... can't wait to get it in my truck with my JL audio subs in it!! A great buy considering other sites sell the same box for $180
