Mirror link doesn't work with Samsung Galaxy s5. Otherwise works good, but overpriced as a result.

Sony XAV-712HD is a GREAT VALUE!!

I had ordered the previous model which was discontinued, so they upgraded my order to the latest Sony model at no extra cost to me. The folks at Sonic Electronix are awesome! They even got back to me to make sure I had the proper dash kits for my car so it would fit.

just what i was looking for

This radio is great.
I use it with my android cell phone (HTC m8)

Excellent head unit for the price!

I got this as an upgrade for my BRZ's stock Sat Navi head unit. I needed android integration, wanted pandora, bt audio, aux inputs, and USB. This device had all that and it had 5V pre-outs to boot. The resistive touch screen is surprisingly quick, and the interface is slick and easy to use.

I'm quite pleased with the audio quality and the ease of syncing with my Galaxy S3's bluetooth.

It does stick out a bit much, and a non-tilting screen would have been nicer to have, but I'm not complaining.

For $500, this is one of the best you can get if you use an android smart phone... that is, until the Pioneer NEX units come out in less than a month (and starting at $700).

Very nice unit !

Very user friendly as far as install and use. clear crisp screen with very nice colors as well. Pre-outs are very powerful and work very well with my JL audio amps, sub and speakers. Bluetooth works great with my Blackberry as well. Cons of this unit are that it did not mount very well with the metra install kit but the end product still looks very nice. Other problem is that the AVI is very picky as to what codecs it will play but once you learn what works its such a nice feature having the USB input and AVI playability.

Well to sum up I'm happy with the purchase. Good unit with heaps of features and a prompt delivery. I would have to point out the inability to use mirrorlink or the navigation features with iphones is disappointing and I do get odd sound movement between speakers on USB and CD playback with certain albums. After trying various sound settings I am still yet to resolve this issue. Otherwise it has a great screen and much better sound than the standard unit provided through the factory speakers.

Awesome product for the money.

Works great. However mirror link is not as smooth as I would have expected but that's really androids fault. Would definitely buy again.
