good speakers

i have some of these in the doors of my explorer and they sound really good, but not much bass. I am running them with my factory amp, that could be why too, but i have some subs so that doesn't bother me. Clear highs at high volume, doesn't distort. would recommend.

I expected more....

For my purpose, they sound great. I love the mid and high-range response on these. However, their bass response is terrible, and require a subwoofer. For the price I paid, I am satisfied, and do not regret my purchase. Just realize they are hard to enjoy without a proper subwoofer.

I have a pair of this speakers in the door of my 1996 jeep cherokee. They are great clean sounding speakers...and the 4-way part says it...sony has done a good job with these also in making them very efficient so you get the sound performance you would want with little power usage...The bass is lacking..however you cant expect much of any BASS out of a 5 1/4 door speaker LOL...hope i've been of some help..i know one thing...i love sonicelectronix!!!

Great choice

I think these are great speakers. They are putting out more bass than my brother's 6x9 pionner speakers. They have a great deep sound as well as mid and upper level.
